"We contracted Winthrop Place for a remodeling job that included converting an extra room into an additional bathroom & converting the adjoining room into a bedroom (adding a closet, new doorway and framing the existing doorway) for my elderly mom. Michael and crew did a fantastic job. They were very professional and completed the work in a short time frame, making the house much more accessible for my mom. They took care to preserve and re-use the house's original wood trim/moulding so the new rooms tie in perfectly with the existing spaces. Michael has many years of experience and it shows in both the quality of the work performed and the suggestions he offered along the way. Finding a contractor for a big job can be very stressful, these guys made the whole remodeling process easy & painless. I'm happy to say that this company knocked it out of the park in terms of quality of workmanship, timeliness, and fair pricing. Can't ask for much more than that. After this project I can confidently recommend Winthrop Place if you're looking for a local contractor. I just wish I'd found them sooner!"

"I needed the work done quickly on a home I was selling . I found the process they use to secure jobs fairly drawn out You call, they set an appointment time, someone comes out to look at the job, then they email you an estimate, then you have to call back and set up another appointment for the work to be done. when I got the gentleman there the work was done quickly but I found a corner completely missed and had to call the contractor to come back and had trouble gettiing that done quickly.I had to wait a couple of days for that person to have "time" to come back .I had already paid and was no longer living in the home as it was on the market,so I had to arrange my day to be there to let him in, The work was done well the process was very annoying to this customer"

"This project could not have went better. Salgau Roofing are the true experts when it comes to slate and tile roofing. Most other contractors that come out say you need to replace the entire roof. They are wrong concrete tile can last 150 years if properly maintained. Salgau knows how to do that maintenance. They are also great and standard shingle roofs as well. Professional prompt and very friendly."

"Tired of the expensive service calls from GE Repair, I joined Angie's list to find a repairman for my GE dryer. Brad was one of the recommendations on the list and close by, so I called. He answered the phone that morning and told me he'd be out later that day, or 10AM the next morning. He came the next morning at 10, cleaned the dryer which didn't solve the problem. He returned the next day at 10 as promised with a new switch which didn't solve the problem. He determined it needed a new motor...a repair that would run in the $300 range. With two repairs in 7 years and a repair of that magnitude, his advice was to go shopping for a new dryer. I paid him $30 for the service call and found a new dryer for $345 delivered and installed."

"They do great work and are very professional.  When they vented the bathrooms fans through the attic to the outside one of their workers also fixed the attic screens which at one side of the house had come loose and some birds made a nest. They did not charge extra for this.  The workers are always friendly, they clean up after themselves and the work preformed is excellent. <br />"

He came during the project to check on the progress and to see if there was anything we needed. The installers always started on time and worked a full day. They even came on a Sunday to finish the installation and clean up. They did a great job cleaning up materials and scraps after the project. I was impressed with how the project manager inspected the roof when it was finished and quickly had the installers back to fix a minor detail.
