"Jeff (the owner) came by to assess a crack I had seen in my foundation. He told me that it wasn't actually a crack in the foundation but a crack in some superficial cement that was smeared over the actual foundation and is just a cosmetic problem that doesn't need to be dealt with. He gave me some advice and recommendations for some gutter work and didn't charge me a dime.

"Mr. Crawford came out in a days notice to get the measurements for my project, so his office could render a quote. We appreciated this swift visit greatly. He was knowledgeable and was pretty detailed in the service they could do. He was so confident in the work and/or bid, I would receive, he wanted to come out on Sunday to take pic of the project for before and after shots. In my mind, I have never seen someone wanting to take pics of a project without confirm of the acceptance of the bid, so I was really excited to see what the quote would be.
Well, it seems Mr. Crawford coming to take pics on Sunday was pre-mature due to the ridiculous price I was quoted. Well first, the original quote had the wrong information in it, because I was quoted $2600 for the patio itself and then 500 for the flagstone overlay or stamping. We accepted this quote but the office lady called me back to say that was wrong and it would be an additional $5500 for the flagstone overlay. Now my space (according to Mr.Crawford) was 550 sq ft and how someone came up with a price of 8100+ for a concrete patio this size is beyond belief.
I asked the office lady was she sure because that price is not logical for an overlay. I reminded her that I wasn't actually getting real flagstone, just the look or the overlay. She said yes I know but real flagstone or this overlay is the same cost, there is no difference. I explained to her that although I don't work in concrete biz, I know that its way more work required in setting up real flagstone compared to an overlay. I then let her know on Angie's there is a person that had 150sqft and their flagstone... only cost about $2600, so why would mine be over $8k and she said right that was for 150 and yours is 550, I said it still doesn't compute. She said she would go confirm but think its going to be an additional $5500.
I was never called back with the confirm and when I got her on the phone, she said, oh well yeI said it was $5500 additional and I said, well you said you were going to confirm. She said well yep, its still $5500 and I said well $8000 plus for my size patio is not what we are going to do.
I ended up finding a concrete contractor that wasn't trying to inflate prices and I got the same flagstone look for about 4800+, which came inline with what we heard from others.
I cannot recommend using them because you cant trust the quote is accurate and if they were trying to over charge be by $3K+, I'm positive, they've done that before.
