"Overall the multiple projects went well. More costly than expected but we did receive some discounts which helped. The only one item I would mention is that we bought an incorrect faucet/drain combination. The tech replaced the drain components but since the faucet we had was designed to have a pull lever for the drain, and the one he used was a push down stopper, the hole where the pull up leveler would have gone stayed opened. It does not look good so we now need to live with it."

I chose them because it isn’t one of those huge do it all companies that include plumbing work, it has “drain” in the name, and after speaking to them I learned that the owner is the person who would be working on the problem. I am so happy I found David –owner of Stahl Plumbing and Drain. He was very persistent and determined – he had to use different sizes of snakes and snake it from multiple access points. I was growing concerned that it would turn into a really expensive job. But he showed me that the backup was caused by waste getting hung up at the joints of the shifting terra cotta pipes – and the way my plumbing had been installed was making it challenging to unclog. David was very patient in answering my questions and I watched as he put the camera through the pipes. – and it was all for the price he quoted me before he began. After he unclogged the mess I did decide to have him do the hydro jet pipe cleaning. It was amazing to see on the camera the buildup of hardened grease and soap and gunk and then see the clean pipes after. It wasn’t necessary but it gave me peace of mind that this wouldn’t happen again any time soon.
