"It took longer than first estimated but this was due to the fact that we kept adding on more stuff for them to do.  The door replacements as well as the entryway tile installs were all change order additions.  We would hire again."

"It was tough, but not because of Peter Hardner and Son. During the middle of the job, one of our family became ill. We had to more or less quit with things unfinished to deal with the illness. Dave and his subcontractors were terrific -- very understanding. They left the site clean and told us to call when we were ready to get back to it. <br /> That took a couple months, but Dave and his team fit us right into the schedule and completed the job. <br /> Now that it's finished, it looks terrific, and as though the new cabinet had been part of the original plan. All the doors fit properly, and the finishes look great. <br />"

"From start to finish, Brent, Mike, and their team did a very professional job. The price was a little on the high side compared to the other bids I got but I don't mind paying extra for quality. Any joker with a truck can put on siding, but the guys that hung this siding were all about attention to detail. You know they are confident in their product because they gave a six year warranty on the installation. I highly recommend these guys. Trustworthy and detail oriented. Hard to find a contractor with these characteristics today."

"They were polite and professional--honest and down home- <br /> they even fed my dog some of their lunch. <br /> I am retired and recently re-married. They were polite to her <br /> and answered all our questions and home repair needs <br /> at a cost my minimal budget can afford. <br /> Their truck broke down so they could not make the original appointment. <br /> However they kept me informed of that problem and came the very next day. <br /> I never had better service at such a reasonable cost and they were very attentive to  <br /> our needs.  <br /> If you need any kind of house repair they can do it and they can do it perfectly <br /> and efficiently. They even build houses from scratch. <br /> You get it all done with them no need for a separate carpenter  and plumber. <br /> Just get out your household to do list and give them a call. You will be glad you did. <br /> Tel them David of West Andover sent you. <br /> Take care, <br /> David Bandit and Sandra say whoof whoof!!"

"The work on my house involved more than power washing the stone siding. It included painting and repairing wood trim, stucco and more. The work is excellent and I am completely satisfied with the work of the Braendel Services. Their work restored my 100 year old house back to the 1920s. I highly recommend Braendel's services."

"It was fantastic! They had a really organized crew. The guys set it up and knew exactly what they were to do, and they never missed anything. I called them and the gentleman came out and went over everything with me. He told me exactly what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. I had no problems at all. I priced them before and they were $1,000 cheaper than a couple of other bids that I got. The price was satisfactory, but I think they all charge too much."

"The quote was delivered promptly and a date set for immediate repair.  <br /> The weather conditions at the time of the repair were difficult and the <br /> repair was made on a timely basis. They matched the 15 year old <br /> materials perfectly and the repair is not visible.  They left the site clean and in order. <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Meadville, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
