"Excellent work and customer service. Would definitely recommend this company. All waterproofing work is expensive, but they offer complete renovation services. Out project was just awful - water in the wall, then they found termites (!) and asbestos in our floor tile & mastic. Basement Detectives worked with us through every issue. They told us what needed to be done, coordinated with other contractors as needed (for our project, a plumber to remove a radiator, and a pest control company and asbestos removal). After the demolition, and the drain and pump install, they put up walls and painted and cleaned everything up. Very professional staff. All we did was get new carpet installed (although they offered to arrange for that, too). We are very pleased with their work. Many thanks to Anthony, Carlos, Jake and Chris."

"We began soliciting bids for a screen porch to replace our existing deck during the summer of 2019. Juston from Classic Construction was one of several people we met with to get proposals. He did not rush through our initial meeting (as others did), taking his time to explain various options and making recommendations based on his experience. We initially thought we could use our existing deck framing as a base for the screen porch; other companies went along with that scenario but Juston said there were too many unknowns with the condition of the structure. He preferred to bid the job including new framing, and his bid was competitive with others that planned to use the existing framing. He was very prompt in getting us the quote, which was more detailed than the majority of the bids we received. When we had questions regarding the quote he offered to come back for another in person meeting, bringing samples of all of the materials he proposed. We delayed our decision for several months, but ultimately our experience with Juston, coupled with the many positive reviews we read regarding Classic, led us to award them the job. Our job was assigned to Brent and his crew, who are extremely skilled and professional. We were impressed with their daily progress; they completed the job in ten work days. They arrived each morning around 8:00 AM, and worked diligently throughout the day. Brent was patient with my frequent questions, and he offered suggestions that improved the final product. The quality of the workmanship is impeccable, and the materials used (Wolf PVC decking, RDI Endurance Vinyl Railing, Screen Tight screen framing with Bettervue Screen, Provia Screen Door, Velux Skylights) are top notch. For anyone looking to build a screen porch, we whole-heartedly recommend Classic Construction. "Working with Maison was better than we could have imagined. My husband and I usually do most home projects on our own since we have heard horror stories about working with contractors. But our project involved creating an opening and stairs into the garage from the main house to the unfinished space above our garage. This was not something we could do ourselves not with juggling work and kids. Originally, the space above the garage could only be accessed by deck stairs outside. This was not ideal for us. We have three boys and didn't want them to have to go outside to get to this room. We wanted to create a recreation room for this space, a place for our family to hang out. We had multiple area contractors come to give us a quote. Most of them didn't want to tackle doing the stairs. They offered to finish the room but not do the stairs. Either we wouldn't hear back from them or they gave us quotes that were enough to build a brand new house. We had given up hope on finding a contractor so we decided just to contract somebody to do the stairs and we would do the rest ourselves. Initially, we were asking Ken for a quote just for the stairs. But he wanted to do the whole job. Our first impression of Ken was that he was a good guy so we took a leap of faith because we had become very skeptical of all contractors at that point. Maison pleasantly surprised us. Their work was ahead of schedule and meticulous. Ken and his crew were professional and a pleasure to work with. They exceeded our expectations. They were mindful to our work and family schedule. "The crew arrived on the date/time promised. They were polite, professional, and worked non-stop (except for 2 short breaks and lunch). Because of my landscaping, the crew determined the best way to get to the bottom of the foundation was to dig a hole—24” x 8’. It was truly impressive—perfectly squared off. They sealed the wall, replaced the dirt, and replaced decorative stone. They then installed a 50’ French drain—trenching, refilling the trench, and removing excess debris. The crew worked as a team, did a top-notch job, and left the job sites better than they found them. It took them 4 days—and they never wavered from an extraordinary work ethic. That was last week. This week? We’ve had torrential downpours and flooding—but my basement and garage are dry. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat."
