"Bruno was a nice guy and good to work with. Scheduling was a little complicated but not too difficult. Price and craftsmanship were good. My only complaint is asthetics. Why wasn't the paint on my new risers selected to match the adjacent trim? Both are white but different shades so it looks strange. Also my existing top step was not restained to match as part of the job. I understand that it was not included int he quote but nonetheless does not look good and Bruno didn't anticipate this. He gave me the stain to do it myself but overall the staircase could look fantastic and instead just looks good."

(These sides represent the main part of our house built in 1938; the south side is part ofan extension to the house built in 1965). The porch was removed (later replaced by Madison Maintenance LLC).  New draintiles were installede with 4in. draintile with sock.  Bleeder onwalls were flushed out so water would flow.Delta board installed from footing to grade. 6 mil Visqueen, trowel grade tar used.  Edges treated with eucalistic sealant and moldings, mortar joints repaired inside and out.  Fabric installed over stone, dirt and topsoil, basement window recaulked.
Mr. Bob Gray and his crew were professional and efficient and we have been please with the result of their work.  They have also straightened basement walls for us-separate review.

"This was my first time using BNC and they were fantastic to work with. Charles gave me a fair price and answered all my questions. He worked alongside his crew on the job and the other guys helping were courteous, knowledgeable and took time to answer questions about the job as I was peeking downstairs to see how it was going. They had laid down brand new cloth runners while walking through the house, and were running a shopvac while using the jackhammer. While a mess was unavoidable, there wasn't nearly as much dust and debris as I expected. Overall, BNC did a great job and I will likely use them again for future home repairs."

FAQs for interior trim and decorative moldings repair projects in Memphis, MI

While the terms 'trim' and 'molding' are often used interchangeably, they serve different purposes in home design. Trim refers to materials installed at the junctions of walls, ceilings, and floors, providing a seamless and functional transition. Molding, on the other hand, is a decorative type of trim crafted specifically to enhance your interior's visual appeal. For personalized recommendations that match your home's style, consult a professional contractor.

Repairing or replacing trim throughout your entire home takes six hours. If you're focusing on just a single room or a small section, you can expect the project to take one to two hours to complete. The process includes removing the old trim, carefully measuring and cutting new pieces, and precisely installing them to achieve a polished and lasting result.

Selecting the right trim is key to enhancing your home's overall design. Common options include shoe molding, quarter-round, baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and picture rails. The best choice depends on where you're installing it, your personal style preferences, and your budget. Consulting a knowledgeable contractor can help you find the perfect trim to elevate your interior's appearance.
