"After a frustrating time of trying to save money by going the Lowe's route, I was fortunate to meet the owner of Express Shutters and Blinds.  He was able to come to my home within 24 hours, measure all windows, and quote a full installed price for 23 - 2" wood blinds for my Midtown home.  The blinds arrived on time and were installed within 7 or 8 days.  The quality of the product is terrific.  The installation was easy and the overall cost was less than that of buying through a big box retailer.  I have recommended Express Shutters and Blinds to several friends - all of whom have bee thrilled with the product and service."

"Greg was amazing. He was on vacation and on top of that he got sick and STILL answered the phone. That is dedication right there. He took his time and explained things and asked good questions that I hadn't considered. He is very knowledgeable and willing to explain anything and everything, no matter how much time it takes or how many questions you ask. I ended up getting pressured by my original contractor and couldn't use Greg. Greg said to let him know if i ended up with any problems. I wish I had called him first. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

Overall, it went well.  We had to do the work in phases due to scheduling but it all turned out well.  Job required both traditional and innovative repair and solutions.  We were pleased with the end result and completion of all requests above and beyond the contractual terms.
