During the first visit, Mr. Mays showed me how to fix the problem with the water heater in order to save me money (rather than replacing the part or the entire water heater.) After a few weeks, I decided I wanted to replace the entire unit. Mr. Mays came to my home that same day & efficiently installed the new unit & hauled away the old one. He was very professional & even asked permission to pull into my garage in order to load the old water heater onto his truck. I will definitely call E Mays Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Christopher was very friendly and professional. Replaced water heater and repaired some loose tiles on my roof. Very easy to understand explanations for all repairs. Very timely in keeping scheduled appointments. Left area where repairs were completed clean and neat. Very happy. Will definitely use this company for future projects."

"I think it was mainly to get me to set up a yearly maintenance agreement with them. He never did come back with the filter. Did not complete that. After he left within 2 days I had to call my warranty company because my heater was no longer working. Come to find out when the guy originally came out, which he did not plug in one of things all the way. So when it came in it shook it loose. So I ended up having to pay my warranty company to come out and plug it back in. I wasn't all that happy. You get what you pay for. I thought $35 was relatively cheap. I thought all I needed was the filter changed really, and he didn't even do that. I won't be using this company again. They came out within the same week that I bought the deal. He was very nice and punctual. The price was really great, but there again, you get what you pay for. I had another company out that I had purchased before and they did a fantastic job. I should have went back with that company. He was very responsive. I just won't use them."
