"The proprietor said he could not do the water heater flush because my water heater has a plastic valve. He installed the garbage disposal and faucet in the kitchen. During the installation, he said I needed to have two valves replaced at $100 each. This is the part where I am unsure if the price was a bit steep since I haven't had much plumbing work done. The proprietor did give me a reduced rate for the faucet install. I gave a lower score for punctuality because the scheduler gave me a 9-1 window and the service provider had it on his schedule for 1045-245, so I effectively waited from 9-3. However, he was very efficient and professional and he even looked at my recliner that my daughter and I were trying to fix while he was there. I would recommend him without reserve if I could find out if the valve replacements were priced well."

"Work was completed in a timely manner. The plumber knew precisely what was wrong and had necessary parts on his truck. It was a simple repair, but completed quickly and correctly. I thought the price was high for such a simple job, but plumbers are not cheap. And I am notorious for making things worse with plumbing. ",Was some confusion about whether a Virginia-based franchise of this firm should do this work or whether my Virginia zip code falls into the service catchment of the Kensington, MD franchise, which apparently it does.  Was also some confusion about time of appointments.  Franchisee's published telephone was not always staffed.
That said, the quality of work couldn't have been better.  The seams at the drain between paint and chrome are still holding up.  The serviceman did neglect to warn me that since a new chrome drain sleeve would be fitted inside the old drain, the drain entry diameter would be smaller and any hair/lint traps might not fit.  I had to buy a new loose-fitting trap for the tub.
This was the second time I have tried to have this work done.  The first time was a handyman I use who apparently bought a kit from Home Depot.  He charged me several hundred dollars more than Miracle Method, and the job lasted several months and started to peel.
