"The job went very well. The crew arrived on time and the job was completed the same day. They spread heavy duty tarps on the carpeted area and on the stairs, so there was no trace of broken up concrete in those areas. A high quality drainage system was professionally installed and the finish coat of concrete was very neatly done. The new concrete blends well with the existing floor. I expect to have no worries of water coming into our basement during future rainstorms."

"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

After many years of a leaky basement that had been touched by the big name guys multiple times, Ken came out and provided solutions that would solve the real problem once and for all. We had multiple quotes and Family Waterproofing was by far the lowest cost (more than 1/2) and had backed up their work with a real warranty. The total quality of workmanship was outstanding and this repair team did not rush and paid attention to every detail. The repair was perfect and they were very careful not to mess up the inside of the house and cleaned up everything as if they were not there. Do not let this low price fool you, their quality is much better than the other guys because they don't have this huge overhead and charge you for all of the commercials like the other guys. "Quickly. The crew of 7 arrived early and stayed late to get the project completed within two days. They dug a trench along the exterior walls of the basement, put drain tile in, covered it with 1/2" rock, then filled it with concrete. Along with this, they also installed a new sump pump which was included with the price. The concrete and dirt was taken out to a dumpster they brought and put in our driveway. Cleanup was fairly good, considering what they did. The only issue we had was when they were leaving, we asked if they would come back and put the work benches back in place after the concrete dried. When we got our estimate, the person we spoke with said they would put everything back. I specifically asked if they would put the work benches back (there are 5 work benches), and he said they'd put everything back as it was before. The head of the crew said they would come back the following week after another job and put them back, but when I called to schedule it, I was told it was not part of the agreement, that they didn't usually do that, and they could do it for an additional fee. This was very disappointing because we are seniors (89 and 71) and can't possibly move those work benches ourselves. Other than that, the workmanship and product used were very good and we would use them again."

"I can't say enough good thing about the guys that did the work and the company. I had a sewer back up in my rental property on Friday july 11th 2014. I had a company out already , but they were terrible! They rodded and couldn't get through, then told me it was going to be 7000 k to fix. i waited for another company to come out on Monday, they never showed. So i called Reid and Pederson! Best thing i did! they came out the day i called, on time! He set up for the drain rodding and got through! they had no idea what i went though to just get people there. They were on time and very professional, even with me bird dogging then every 5 mins. I will use thenm for all my rentals! thanks again! Lou <br />"

"The job went well. So far we’ve not had any water enter the basement since the work was completed. However, we’ve also not had a heavy or long rain. That will be the true test. We chose this company because of their commitment to return if a problem does arise which gives an added level of confidence. My only suggestion is that the salesperson should call after the work is finished to see how things went and express his gratitude for our business. This has been my only disappointment."
