"Brad and Zen Windows were great to work with throughout the entire process. They're very knowledge, accessible, straight-forward folks. We love the appearance, performance, functionality of our 15 replacement windows (Nirvana - Soft-Lite Classic). The pricing was very competitive with other similar sized outfits but a much better value than the larger ones (same quality of product and installation but lower price). Great experience overall and would definitely recommend."

"Excellent from first meeting with Bob Cunningham, visiting their showroom a couple times with questions, coming up with a final quote/contract to scheduling to the installation, which took place yesterday. I had 5 pocket installations and 4 total replacement. I went from 2 standard windows to changing to a picture window and also an apron window in the kitchen. Selected windows from Pella and Soft-Lite. I have to say I really love the look quality of the 2 Pella's installed. I never felt pressured and always felt that any question I had was answered completely. My experience with HomeTowne Windows & Doors in New Berlin, WI was a good choice for me."

"Just recently had a 48in x 48in egress window installed in our basement. The 2 gentlemen, Caleb & Graham were nothing short of awesome. I'm a retired carpenter and I can say their craftsmanship was second to none. Clean, precise. I was enjoying the perfect gape in our foundation and the framework even before they installed the window, because it was being done properly. Heck, even the hole they dug for the well was precise. Both Caleb & Graham were very friendly, communicative and courteous. Would use again and highly recommend."

"Great service, affordable pricing for the product, wonderful follow-up and installation process. They send someone out to follow-up post-install to make sure everything was done proper and to expectations. Very pleased with experience."

"Third time we’ve used them for work on the house. Siding, roof and this time a full bathroom remodel. I can’t say enough good things about their staff, John, Larry, Brooke and the other members of their team. Very easy to work with and would hire them again for anything in the future!"

"Had two windows that the seal was broken on. T and L came out and measured the windows. They provided me with two quotes, one for new windows and installation and the other for just the windows if I wanted to install them myself. Decided to have T and L install the windows. Very glad I did. Removing the old windows was NOT as easy as You Tube videos portray. T and L removed the old windows, cleaned up all the gunk left on the frames and installed new windows. Windows look great. I watched the entire procedure. T and L was professional, friendly, and cleaned up after he was done. I'm sure this job took longer than they had anticipated. Great job. Thanks T and L. I will definitely use you again."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Merton, WI

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
