"We had a very small roof area need to be repaired. I sent request to multiple company to give a service quote. Few of them sent me replies and stated that they are too busy to come. Matt of MMP Consturction's contacted me promptly, scheduled an on-site visit and gave us a quote right away. The work was then scheduled and finished quickly. Matt did great job on reaching out, effective communication, and always arriving on-time. He also gave an evaluation on our roof condition. Also, Eric and Don did excellent job on finishing the project. They are all very polite, knowledgeable, and showed their professionalism. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Matt and his crew. We are very grateful for having them arriving on-time before the winter storm to prevent potential damage of the house. "As above...simply marvelous. Eduardo is extremely neat, always cleaning up when done and placed materials and tools away properly. I had originally met Eduardo three years ago when my sliding glass doors needed replacing and ceilings, closets etc. needed painting. His English, at first, was difficult but since that time, he has vastly improved along with his personal talents and experience as a professional. His carpentry skills and his inbred abilities to do most anything are outstanding. He completed work (counters, seating, flooring etc) in my daughter's Cafe in ample time and nicely done for her grand opening. He's hung closet doors, sliding doors, installed faucets, exhaust fans. He's done some plumbing, tiling, a full shower with built in seat, interior and exterior house painting, rake boards, trim, a bit of electrical work, etc. He's repaired, retaped and painted several ceilings. He has replaced all of the rotted boards hither and yon throughout my property; from the front and back porches and decks, to the shed, to the front stairs to the trim around doors, windows etc. Eduardo, most importantly, is honest and trustworthy and, I must say, most respectful...always. I would not and did not hesitate to leave my doors open when I was out. My home was open for him. He takes pride in his work and has quietly done many extra things that have surprised me so. Example; my trash barrels have been brought in for me, my garden tools or hoses have been picked up for me. Saw dust, debris, dust and dirt have all been cleaned away. He is a good person, a hard worker, and is fairly priced. I would recommend him at any time. You may speak to me personally if you wish further information. He would have my number. I truly, truly, appreciate everything that he has done for me. Work still needs doing and he diligently is working on my list: fieldstone walls that need rebuilding, smoke detectors needing replacing, attic vent fan replacement, wallpaper removal, more interior painting, some high hedge trimming, mulching, edging etc. etc. etc. He will shine at anything and everything that you need doing. "As all the previous reviewers have said, DC 57 Construction is definitely a 5 star company. Lucas came to my home 3 times and helped me plan out the job. The job included: rebuilding a wood ladder to the upstairs loft, installing a railing and a new door in the loft, and adding shelves in the bathrooms. In addition, Lucas installed two railings for my back deck. Lucas and Tiago are both finish carpenters and they do excellent work at a very reasonable price. I am having Lucas come back soon to install a new screen door. Hiring Lucas and Tiago was definitely a great decision as my home looks much better."

"Communication with the owners was easy and timely, but very disappointed in the attention to detail and overall oversight of the job on Redman's part with their sub-contractors. We constantly had to directly let the outside workers know of our plans even though we had already discussed items with Redman. We had to ask them to clean up after themselves (one contractor said he never owned a tarp before) and have the electrician come back numerous times to fix things. Overall timeline was met and we are happy with overall design and functionality, but had to aggressively press at the end before our move in date. Items that we were disappointed in - nails showing through new cabinetry (purchased separately), holes still showing in the plastered ceiling and recessed lighting holes cut too big, so that the lights are loose. Tile Contractor was the best by far."
