"It went beautifully!  There were some minor delays due to the weather down south, but Rob at Lake Carpet & Flooring was always right on top of everything. Rob was very prompt in returning emails and phone calls  -  always professional and cordial, he made sure to keep me updated each step of the way - something I don't always get from service providers. 
I love my new carpeting!  Rob and his associate had the carpet installed and vacuumed and furniture put back in about 5 hours.

"I contacted Jaime about repairing my deck a few weeks ago.  He came out, and I showed him exactly what I wanted done.   Eventually, the deck needs to be replaced, but I told Jaime that I was not ready to do that.  I told him that I only wanted to repair and/or replace several boards for now.  He listened to what I wanted and gave me a good estimate a few days later.

"Our construction is a two phase project. Carrie was involved in the flooring decisions from the design stage on. It had been nearly 30 years since we had purchased carpet and she provided valuable product information and advice. She was in contact with our building contractor and communicated all installation information to the contractor as well as me. Mike's installation was exactly at the time scheduled; the work was completed beautifully and neatly. All three rooms are carpeted to our complete satisfaction. Now phase two of our project in underway (This is a remodel of the existing whole house). Carrie is again involved in the selection process for five areas in this phase. "I knew that Danny was the one I wanted to do my kitchen when he came to give me an estimate. He had great ideas, many options, reasonable pricing and was very personable. Whenever I called him he always returned my calls. Danny and his right hand man, Dominic, make a great team. They both took great care to do everything to perfection. Danny helped me pick out cabinets and flooring. He sent me to wonderful people to pick out granite for the countertops and tile for the backsplash. When I wasn't sure about the tile, Danny even met my husband and I on a Saturday to help us figure it out and select something that we would love. He put in extras like a pull out garbage cabinet, a wonderful cabinet that holds my heavy electric mixes and brings it up to counter level when I need to use it. I have pull out drawers and a two shelf lazy susan to maximize the space in a corner that would otherwise just be wasted. The kitchen has an opening by the sink that looks out into the family room. Danny used matching wood to the cabinets and created a molding, along with a wonderful light fixture, to create a beautiful area that enhances the kitchen. He extended the tile backsplash on either side of the opening and put granite on the bottom. Danny added an island with many pull out shelves, large and small, to give me much more storage. The island is amazing and greatly adds to the kitchen. Dominic is an expert electrician who made sure I had ample outlets and wonderful under the cabinet lighting. Danny is an expert plumber who added a water filter, as well as an instant hot that matches the faucet. Because he is such a good guy, he even fixed a problem in our bathroom that had nothing to do with the kitchen remodeling. Absolute Kitchens and Baths is a first rate company. I will absolutely use them again."

"We found the black mold and immediately did a search for mold removal companies on Angie's list. Far too many times we've encountered poor quality customer service and quality work on projects in our home in the past, which is why my husband does all of our home improvements. This issue however was far beyond our realm of expertise. When we contacted Puroclean, they came with in 24 hours to inspect the mold and give us a quote. After inspection, they informed my husband they would be happy to stay and remove the mold THAT day, which was even better. Unfortunately, my husband still had to open up another wall in my daughter's soon to be bedroom in order to assure there wasn't mold in there, so he told them he'd call them back to schedule once we knew if that wall also needed the mold removal. My husband was than offered that IF we did find mold in her room, they would take care of that as well for the same price estimate we were given for just the play room! Given the scale of this home project, this was a huge relief for us, and so refreshing as many professionals we have encountered are not so kind. Not only was my husband very pleased with their professionalism, but he was also very happy with the quality of work they provided. Hecter and Jason were the professionals that came to our home and removed/sanitized the wall that had the black mold. Everything is now clean and safe and my husband can move forward with finishing the remodel. We are beyond happy with the quality of work and piece of mind that was provided to us. And although we would absolutely use this company in the future if we ever needed to, we truly hope we don't have to as this was an unexpected and scary home improvement we hope to not have to make again! "I needed to replace carpeting in a large family room (23X15). My room was an addition so it had settled causing the floor to be uneven and also was uneven in other areas. Kevin Teppo leveled the floor, ripped up all of the carpet and installed a beautiful laminate floor. He also installed quarter-round for me. The work was top notch, he was timely, responsive, neat and very professional. His worker Danny was also a hard worker and very professional. I could not be happier. I found the price to be very reasonable and I am highly satisfied with the workmanship and final results.
