"Our experience with Big Apple Mold was excellent. Of the remediators I interviewed to remediate mold in my mother's apartment, they seemed the most knowledgeable, David, the owner that is. We had numerous roadblocks to overcome, including unusually high insurance requirements by the coop. Big Apple was always positive throughout this lengthy and often discouraging process. Annabelle their office manager made everything so smooth and was always super prompt in answering questions or requests. And patient too. When we finally got the green light, the team they sent was well trained, pro active, hard working and friendly (Kirk,Jaime and Kevin) . You just had to ask once, and they went the extra mile. Patrick the team leader was outstanding, personable and informed, taking utmost precaution around the numerous antiques. They also worked well with the air monitor that we were required to hire. The job was finished on schedule and air scrubbers were left to run for several days. When we finally got the mold test results back, mold levels had all been reduced way below the acceptable level. "I thought they did a good job. The first appointment had to be rescheduled because they forgot to enter the appointment in their calendar. My main concern is that we discussed a follow-up job in which they would repaint with anti-mold/anti-microbial primer and gloss finish to prevent any mold from returning; but they don't return calls to finalize, leaving me the need to find someone else to do this job."

"It went really well. They came in immediately and sealed off the basement from the rest of the house (There's no door to the basement)). They also set up very large and powerful hepa-air-cleaning units which they kept running through the whole job and in fact until the industrial hygienist returned for post-testing after the job was completed. The manager Mike assured me that the job would be done with the utmost effort and care and that's exactly what happened. The main workers, Marcello and Israel were terrific, meticulous, hard-working, reliable, responsive to any concerns I raised. I really couldn't have asked for any more. The post-test results showed Zero spores of the two bad molds with high readings in the pre-job testing. It's a really nice feeling when people come in and do the job just as they promised to."
