George, the consultant, who came to my home and explained everything in detail, and measured my windows, was SO very nice, and extremely knowledgeable. And he was obviously animal friendly! The team who did the installation were professional and knew what they were doing - no problems whatsoever. And they were very accommodating about my indoor cats, so I was able to have them in a room, and they replaced windows everywhere else, and let me know when I could move the cats to a finished room. Everyone was excellent, and I wholeheartedly recommend them. I am more pleased than I can ever put into words. My new windows changed my world!!! : )"

"After doing our homework, and getting 4 estimates to replace the peeling vinyl clad windows on our house, we chose Skyline Windows of Richmond. Their cost was comparable to another company, but after careful review, we believed the windows offered by Skyline were of better quality.  <br /> We were impressed by the initial sales call; the company is family owned, their installers are employees vs. contractors, there was no hard sell. Calls made to ask questions about the windows were returned promptly. The owner met us at the showroom, at a time they were normally closed, in order to show us their sliding glass doors.  <br /> On the day of the install, a crew of 8 or 9 men arrived promptly. They had our old windows out and the new ones installed, everything was cleaned up, and it only took them 6 hours.  <br /> We are very pleased with our new windows and slider. <br />"

"First rate experience working with owner Brian Daniels and his son Jason. Brian's attention to detail was outstanding and it showed in the installation which looked amazing. The custom frameless enclosure is a highlight of my master bathroom remodel. He recommended going with a low iron glass which is almost totally clear without that slight green tint that glass sometimes has. I'm so glad I did with the white tiles. Brian made 3 trips in all, one to do rough estimate, one to make final measurements and template, and lastly to install. During installation Brian and Jason put down heavy paint cloth tarps to protect everything in the bathroom during installation. Can't say enough good things about Glen Allen Glass!"

"The contractor, Lonestar Siding & Windows, was located by me on my first use of Angie's List in May.  My wife had wrecked her car pulling out of the garage, and damaged the aluminum trim around the garage door.  Lonestar e-mailed me within 24 hours of my inquiry, and they were onsite to give me an estimate in short order.  The estimate was so reasonable, and the company staff were so friendly and accomodating, that I approved the quote right away.  Knowing this was such a small job, I expected the company would forget about me while completing their much larger jobs.  I was definately wrong.  They called me yesterday, 6/17/15 and said they would be out that afternoon to remove and install the new trim.  When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes.  The new installation was incredible...professionally done and absolutely perfect in every way.  I phoned the company receptionist right away and told her how pleased we were with their work.  I also advised her I would recommend their company to all my friends and neighbors.  All I can say is that this was the perfect contractor for the job, and if it weren't for Angie's List, I wouldn't have heard or known about Lonestar Siding & Windows.  Thank you Lonestar for everything!!  My garage again looks brand new! <br /> Joe Sands <br /> Manakin Sabot, VA <br />"

"I have used We Do Windows for over four years to clean both the exterior and interior of our windows, and I've always been happy with the results. This visit was no exception, with a thorough and reasonably priced cleaning. <br /> The only challenge this time around was scheduling. It appeared to be a busy time of the year, so it took over three weeks of phone calls to find a date that worked. In general, it seemed to be difficult to schedule anything more than two days or so in advance. Despite the scheduling back-and-forth, I would definitely use We Do Windows again due to the quality of work and their pricing. <br />"

"The team at Professional Home Services did a wonderful job replacing our old wood siding and porches with new vinyl siding and porch railings, along with wrapping our windows, and replacing gutters. The owner responded to our phone call quickly and the work started on time. He also stopped by to look over everything as the work was being done and to see if we had any questions. The quality of the work is great and it looks like a new house!"

"I really appreciated the work The Remodeling Company did for us. We had a lot of items we requested their work for -A new guard rail on the front porch -A new front door frame and new front door with sidelites. -A repair to the side door frame -A new gutter to replace one damaged in a storm Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues, the new front door frame and front door were unavailable. They offered us three options: drop the front door and frame part of the contract, build the repairs for the front door frame on site and the job price would be lowered as compensation, or cancel the contract in its entirety. We opted to go with the second option and have the frame repair built on site. They did an amazing job with each part and we are glad we stuck with them to finalize these projects we had been hoping to get done for some time. They have wonderful customer service and are very responsive if you reach out for updates as well as taking the initiative to update you. Thank you!"
