I ran a large mechanical contracting business for years so understand this business. Guy ran through his checks on what is a fairly complex home system. He pointed out problems that were minor, major, or had the potential to be major. We discussed options and timing. Since our system is old, it will be difficult to repair some of the parts and pieces while others would be fairly standard. We may want to look at a new system this summer to avoid a major problem during a future heating season. I will definitely be talking to Sila."

They have an annual maintenance contract that covers checkups in the spring for A/C, and the fall for the furnace. Never seen a more thorough report after each checkup. I think they are a little high, but I think for what we got, the price was reasonable. Obviously, we took the plunge and did it because they were guaranteeing us zero electric bills and eventually, the fact that we would be selling electricity back to the electric company and that we would be making our money back over a period of time.
