"I came to the link to share it with a friend who is looking for a contractor because I wanted to recommend her to Joseph and Sons and realized I have not written my review yet. I know is a late review though the feeling is the same :) I met with Angelo in the winter of 2019 - a tree had fallen over our roof, we had damage in different areas of the house including the deck. I will make it efficient for you guys; 1. They worked around my budget and went above and beyond 2. They cleaned up after themselves every time 3. Staff was extremely respectful. No music, or Loud conversations and absolutely nice. We enjoyed getting coffee for them and sweets for late afternoon snacks. 4. They will get the job done the way you have imagined it, not the way they think is best. 5. Angelo understands your needs and will help you get as much load off your shoulders as possible. 6. Clean finishes. Sharp paint skills. Detailed focused. 7. Angelo understands how the HOI works, and all the possible ways things could end up working out, so we were always prepared and the job came to finish under the full given budget by the HOI co. 7. I hired him for a few other things at home. 8. They did; new roof, full master bath reno, master wall, second bath ceiling, guest room wall+ceiling, kids room wall + ceiling, second-floor whole-way ceiling, kitchen ceiling, deck reno + pain, AC repairs, paint outside and inside, gutters. They are truly awesome, it was a blessing from heaven having them to help us deal with so much stuff. If I have more projects to do at home I will be calling Angelo again."

"The work was fantastic! Craig's team did the entire job in about 3 weeks time and there was a lot to do. We regraded our backyard as it has dips and valleys that caused large pools of water to form. He then added on a 600sq ft patio, stepping stones, gravel in our side yard landing, added sculpted beds to the outer edges, planted privacy and cherry trees and put in drainage from our home to the yard to help with any excess water issues. I can't say enough about how wonderfully the work turned out. We love our backyard!"

"We arranged a day to have the work done.  Due to a rain storm, the
original day for the work to be done had to be moved on short notice. 
The communication about moving the day was via a phone call, text
message and email - which I thought was excellent. 
When the new appointment day came, the crew arrived 10 minutes early. 
Everyone introduced themselves, josh reviewed the work to be done with
me, and then with the crew.  After that the crew positioned the truck,
got out their gear and got right to work.  The trees are too big for
them to use a truck or ladders, so they used ropes to climb up into the
tree canopy (no spikes used) and started pruning and removing dead
branches.  They worked for 4 hours with no breaks, stopped for about an
hour at lunch time, then did another 2 hours.  After the trimming work,
there was a bunch of branches on the ground, which they put through
their chipper/shredder, raked up the area, and used a blower to finish. 
If you didn't know what had happened, you'd never have been able to
tell anything was previously on the lawn.
All in all - it was a quality experience.  Work was done right by a
professional crew.  Communication was excellent.  Price was fair and
reasonable.  I'd definitely be willing to hire them again."

"I wrote a negative review of Rightaway after having a disappointing experience involving a ~$4k mold remediation+sump pump installation job, during which the firm broke a pipe and failed to repair it properly, according to two plumbers who came out afterwards. I noticed the problem a few months later when I rechecked the crawlspace after my backup sump pump battery alarm went off following some heavy rains. We had Rightaway out again that point (Al arranged the visit of one of his colleagues while he himself was on vacation) and were told by Al that we’d get an estimate for waterproofing the area as a second job. He also denied responsibility for what we believe was a poor repair job of the pipe. After a month of texts with Al, the owner, we hadn’t received an estimate. I should note that Al was very responsive via texts during this time and gave reasons for the delay. For example, he told me over text once that he did not have the right phone number or email address for us. After being solicited by Rightaway for a review on Angies list, I posted a very negative review and Al immediately contacted me and insisted he come out and provide us with another estimate. After I asked, he also agreed to reimburse us for the repair job we’d had done on the pipe; that repair had cost ~$300.00. Al then came out to the house. He told us he’d mail us the reimbursement, send us an estimate for a new waterproofing job, and give us references of people for whom the company had honored their warranty in the past. He emailed us the estimate that day and then mailed the check the following week. However, that next week, he said he didn’t want to provide us with a reference unless he was assured that we would go with his firm for the new job, because he didn’t want to bother past clients for a reference, essentially, that wouldn’t lead to another job. Over text, he said that if I was waiting for a reference to change my review on Angie’s List, then I should go ahead and leave up my initial negative review, and that he would then post all of our text exchanges because I was not being fair and honest. At this point I called him and he explained (as I just did) why he didn’t want to provide a reference. I told him I would change my review to reflect all of our communication since early February, and that’s what I’m doing now. Al is very responsive to texts and calls, and he seems very knowledgeable about his craft and plumbing. Indeed, when he came out to our house personally, he was very convincing and I was considering re-hiring him despite the prior frustrations. I am also impressed that he cares enough about his reputation to insist upon coming to our house, offering a solution to the problem, and reimbursing us for the cost we incurred repairing that pipe. However, based on our last exchange, regarding the texts and the lack of a reference unless we went with his company, I decided against rehiring the company. I've decided I'm not hiring any future new work without a very thorough reference review. As I’ve said, the firm is very responsive in terms of communication and seems to know their business; I would just not go with them again personally based on my experience."

"FIRST CALL: Our call was answered promptly. The office staff was helpful and a first appointment was quickly scheduled.
TESTING/QUOTE: The representative came to our home, did a walk through, and sent testing to an independent lab. Test results came back about 5 days later. Findings pointed to three kinds of mold in the basement and ? very sadly ? unsafe conditions for us and our pets. The quote was high but fair considering that the work to be done was extensive. A lot of information was shared at this point with us ? about mold, about the general process, etc. The very knowledgeable representative did a great job of explaining the process and answering our questions. While we declined a financing package, it was offered. He anticipated the process ? from start to finish ? would take approximately 10 days.
HOUSE CLEAN OUT: We were advised to rent a dumpster. (Independent company, paid separately.) A crew came by on a Saturday to assist with the move out process. The process took much longer than originally expected for a variety of reasons. Nevertheless, the team was incredibly professional and helpful.
MOLD REMEDIATION: The mold remediation followed a day or so later. The crew was in the house 2-3 days. We were warned that it can get a bit smelly (due to sealant fumes), so we vacated the house while they did the work. The team members worked very neatly in our home and the team leader communicated with us via phone/txt about the progress of the project.
THE OOPS PORTION OF THE PROJECT: The water remediation aspects of the project were supposed to begin right after the mold remediation. However Healthy Way mistakenly filed the work/construction permits in the wrong town! Mistakes certainly happen. (We understand!) And, they worked to rectify the situation. (Excellent!) However, communication with us was very spotty during this time. This project that began at the end of July slipped through to the end of August? It is now the first week of September and we?re just finishing that final lap. I love their people and workmanship. However, I admit I was a bit frustrated with this aspect of the project.
WATER MANAGEMENT & DEHYDRATION UNIT: Much work was done? and so far, so good!
THE WINDUP: Mold problems are scary and overwhelming. And, there are also a lot of dubious ?remediation specialists? out there. Healthy Way is staffed by skilled professionals who do quality work at a fair price. While, I hope to God I never have mold problem ever again in my life, if I do, I?m calling these guys.
