"I was very pleased with the carpentry work Kurt did in the wood siding of my house. He replaced a whole section of cedar siding and replace various rotting siding. He installed a frieze board and fixed some rotten siding on a dormer along with other various siding and window trims work The quality of work was excellent and very professional Good quality craftmanship and high work ethics coupled with good communication and very friendly. He provides good advise on what to do and always putting the customer first. He is one of the best carpentry contractor and I definitely recommend him and will call him again for all my future carpentry siding work."

"Workers dropped construction trailer yesterday afternoon & began work this AM. Sergei (owner) stopped by and explained minor changes. Workers very professional & courteous. Bad weather pushed timetable back by a couple of weeks. However, Sergei stayed in touch by phone & stopped by with his framer to go over measurements. So far we are very pleased. Sergei mismeasured opening for storm door which is going to require a custom made door. He explained that he would absorb the additional cost. I admire his honesty. Project completed a few days ago except for storm door. Good job, workers cleaned up everything. Sergei stopped by to be sure we are satisfied & accepted partial payment until custom storm door is here & installed. We also had an issue with during heavy rain we had water leaking into the soffet which they repaired with a j channel. I would definitely use Alliance again for any outside projects or repairs."

"There were channels instead of shingles at the front and back door roofs.  Zaman removed some of the surrounding shingles and laid new ones down to cover those channels.  He needed to come out on two separate days and he did as promised.  It looks great and the best thing is, I am no longer getting leaks in my house (it rained yesterday so it was a good test)

"The estimate & follow through to the start of the job was honest, fair price & fast. In fact, we were told we did not need to replace The front half of the roof! We also had some water damage in the sun roof which they easily fixed. The crew was professional, courteous and responsive to our adjustments. Clean up was superb! We highly recommend Brodowski."

Another A+ job by Dave and his crew! Our house is 100 years old, and required a lot of sanding/priming and meticulous painting to look nice. "The price was fair for the job done which is important however the overall job was mediocre at best. My kitchen is challenging with an 18' cathedral ceiling. I anticipated the highest parts of where the wall meets the ceiling the paint lines might not be perfectly straight. Even managing my expectations... not a single paint line is straight, they are all wavy, at the baseboard, around the door, where the ceiling height is only 8' - not a straight paint line to be found in my kitchen. Jose was very nice, cleaned up when the job was done and seemed to work hard. For those reasons I would have liked to give a better rating but when I look at the details, the job is just barely adequate."

"We contacted SPZ Construction and Remodeling for a minor repair on a window frame that had deteriorated. Sean came out, looked at the repair needed and came back and did the work. While many contractors would not bother with such a small carpentry project we were pleased that Sean took on the project and were pleased with his attention to detail."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."
