Small jobs welcome

"

I saw company's phone number on a van driving on a high way. I called and Jack- the owner picked up the phone immediately.

He came out to my house with in 3 days and provided me his estimate. He brought me a bunch

of samples and he found an amazing match. I was concerned about the mess and construction. He reassured me this would be no problem and the job  was going to be done right. I had questions through out all the job and he was very responsive and always very friendly about all my requests.

They came to put in the floors and it was the best experience. Everyone was very professional and they took great care of my home. The floors look amazing and I do not believe I could have found any one company better.

I own a residential cleaning company and come in contact with many home owners every day. I will be recommending Jack and his team to everyone.

"I was lucky to find Kustom Floors, I contacted them and got the owner on the phone. I stated to him I had a situation and needed help quickly, my basement had flooded and I needed someone to install new carpet for my wife and I. He promptly stop by the house the same day brought samples and took measurements, mr bitters then scheduled me in and told me once I was ready or if I needed more time he could make adjustments. We they came through and it was the nicest carpet installation I have seen yet, me and my wife was very pleased and will always call Kustom floors for our flooring installation from now on. The price was right and the work was quality. The crew and owner even wore mask to protect us from the pandemic, I thought that was major. Great job guys and keep up the good work. God Bless you all. "Kathy gave me advice on how to proceed which was what I was looking for. Our first conversation was on July 29th and the job was done on August 19. I was hoping to match my existing hardwood. However Kathy was upfront that this is very difficult to do as existing hard wood in my living/dining/kitchen is 15 years old and has aged. Kathy provided a sample that I agreed seemed to blend well. Now that the floors are installed, you can tell that it is different wood in the bedrooms, but I feel like Kathy was upfront about this. The floors in the bedroom are beautiful and the workmanship was excellent. I think once furniture is in and carpet are down the demarcation will be less noticeable."

"IC Floors did a great job. The estimate went well, and the team started on time. When they discovered that part of the sub-floor had badly rotted (due to a bad leak from some years ago), the owner stepped in to coordinate replacing it and getting the job back on track. The sub-floor was replaced, the vinyl was laid, and the team still got done on time. The floor looks beautiful."

"I called several providers and these guys are the only ones to reply. They came the next day to measure and give a quote. The day after they were on the job. Came on time every day and cleaned up every day. They had great suggestions. They itemized everything so I could do some of the work too like demo. While installing the baseboard I noticed the gap on the baseboard register was too big. They came out the next  day and fixed the oversight. The job looks great...we would certainly use them again. Thanks Dan.

"Brian and his crew were on time, friendly and professional.  It happened to rain as the project was nearing the end, but Brian and his crew continued to work to make sure that the opening got enclosed and water tight even as they were getting soaked.
The new door was larger than the door being replaced, so they needed to widen the opening.  They took great care to not make a mess on my hardwood floors while they cut the 2x4s and Sheetrock to enlarge the opening.  Whenever a problem came up, Brian always informed me of my options to fix the problem before just proceeding the way he thought it should be done.
The next day he and his painter came over and painted the new door and trim, then they painted two other doors for me.  They went above and beyond what I expected and I am going to use them again soon.

FAQs for carpet repair, refasten, or stretch projects in Milledgeville, OH

Removing a rug costs around $0.40 to $0.50 per square foot. This includes the fee for a contractor to roll up the rug and haul it away in a vehicle for disposal or recycling. If they need to move furniture, they might charge an additional $0.25 to $0.30 per square foot of furniture.

If your carpet has minor damage—like a single area that requires stretching, patching, or cleaning—it might be less expensive to pay for carpet repair than remove and replace it. Repairing carpet costs around $210 per project.

The cost of carpet cleaning is about $190 for a three-bedroom home, so it’s a good idea to have your carpet cleaned at least once a year. But most carpeting only lasts 10 years. If your carpet is nearing the end of its life span, it might be more cost-effective to remove and replace your carpet than to clean and repair it. The average cost to install a new carpet is about $1,800.

Search our directory of carpet removal companies and services to find an affordable, screened contractor near you. All HomeAdvisor listings are vetted, reviewed, and rated by homeowners, so you can be sure to find a local pro qualified for your project. Get at least three quotes to compare prices and the timeline for your project.

Commercial carpet removal usually costs on the lower end of the carpet removal price range, around $1.10 per square foot or even less. Carpet installation contractors often offer discounted rates for larger projects, like commercial carpet removal and installation. Similarly, you might be able to negotiate a lower residential carpet removal cost if the carpet is pulled up throughout your entire home.

Most cities accept old carpets as bulk trash, but you may need to schedule a special pickup and prepare the carpet properly. Remove any nails or glue residue, cut the carpet into manageable pieces, and roll and secure them. Alternatively, you can take your old carpet to a local recycling center for a small fee, where it can be processed and repurposed.

Yes, you can remove carpet yourself if you're ready for a labor-intensive task. DIY carpet removal requires heavy lifting and tools like utility knives, pliers, and pry bars. The process is generally straightforward but time-consuming for stapled-down carpet. If your carpet is glued down or you're worried about damaging the subfloor, hiring a professional is best to ensure the job is done safely and efficiently.
