"We bought an older home and several windows were letting in the winter draft. We decided this past year to have the windows replaced. From the consultation appointment to installation this company was completely professional. We did not feel forced into buying and the installers did an exceptional job. Our house stayed much warmer this winter. We will be using Renewal again!"

"<p>We had heard many good things about Rocky Mountain Window. So when we decided to install new windows and siding on our older home we called them right away. Fred came out and took measurements for all the work then provided us with an estimate right on the spot. After other considerations, we agreed on the project within a few days of the estimate. We later met with Fred at his office, chose the color for the siding and got an estimate of when the work could be accomplished.</p> <p>When the first phase of the work (the window replacement) came around, Jason and Jason were as professional as one could hope for. In less than two days they removed our old windows and installed the new ones. It was great work! On the second day my wife actually got a flat tire in front of our home. The two Jasons quickly came to her rescue and changed the tire for her. What great guys!</p> <p>A week later the second phase of the work began. Andy and his hard-working crew removed much of our old siding, wrapped our home in new insulation then installed the new siding in less than two days. They hauled away all the old material, cleaned up after themselves and moved on to their next project. Pure professionalism at its finest!</p> <p>I've only got one thing to say: if you need this kind of work done you are cheating yourself if you don't contact Rocky Mountain Window Distributors. They are the best in every aspect of the deal!</p>"

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"All of Gill's workers, from the estimate, to the measurements to the installation, were punctual, professional, helpful in answering questions and efficient. <br /> It took about three months after the estimate before they were able to do the installation, but once they were available, they worked quickly and got the work done in one day. They did a good job of cleaning up after the job was done and explained how the windows can be taken out for cleaning. <br /> All in all, it was a positive experience from start to finish. <br />"

"We had several windows in our office that lacked any type of window coverings.  We received a lot of glare through them and it always made it hard to read our computer monitors.  After shopping around, we picked The Blind Guy due to the style of covering we wanted and their professionalism in presenting and visiting with us about different choices.  The cost was comparable to the other bids we received. <br /> <br /> The gentleman who installed the blinds was very professional and did a fantastic job.  We are so happy with how they look. <br /> <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Mills, WY

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
