The only item(s) left behind was new water softener, not a bit of trash can be found. The installers appeared knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Have used this company previously."

It went well.   I imagine there was no way of knowing that the initial repair on the spigot would not last.  They knew I was on a limited budget so they were trying to save me money by making a repair rather than a replacement. 

When they returned to repair the still leaking handle, they managed to use the spigot handle from another unused water pump unit to replace the whole handle mechanism and that did the trick and there has been no leaking since then.     

I am a single woman with little or no mechanical knowledge or expertise, so I always have the fear that a workman may take advantage of that, but I got the feeling that Barr Plumbing were honest and would not try to suggest unnecessary or costly repairs.  

They came out last year to install a well pump tank(?) in my basement and did an excellent job and also added an extra faucet in the basement to give me an outside water supply - something I didn't ask for but was very pleased that they did, and there was no extra charge for this add on.

Unfortunately, the water heater is behind my HVAC, so they had to remove the HVAC, remove the old water heater, install the new heater, and replace the HVAC. They did a perfect job.
