"A contractor I’ve been doing business with contacted Lonnie early Tuesday morning to perform plumbing services related to a broken water pipe. While at the house he: made a thorough inspection of all areas showing damage, and replaced a length of copper pipe with (far superior) pex pipe. The copper pipe had burst during the freeze of January 2024. He was diligent and careful to remove only those portions of drywall and other materials to evaluate the extent of water damage. Along the way, he made (plumbing-related) suggestions that would ultimately be money-saving. For example, he suggested getting a tankless water heater and tomorrow, he will install an icemaker connection box for our refrigerator. Lonnie is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He provides excellent plumbing services and he places them far above profit. I highly recommend him."

"I was expecting and prepared to have to tunnel or break concrete, but Morgan Leak Detection came in, located the leak and was able to bypass the bad line and reroute it with only a few simple to patch holes in the drywall. They were able to get a repair I expected to cost $7000 down to $2000. They are definitely not the cheapest guys in town if compared task for task, but they close the gap in service, honesty, and efficiency. I wanted a specialist for my problem and I was willing to pay to get the best. They delivered and I believe saved me a great deal of money in the long run. I had a friend with a similar problem a few weeks ago who got a huge quote from another plumber. I told her to give Morgan a call. Again, they found the leak and were able to perform a reroute that saved her money over the tunneling proposed by the other guy and Morgan was able to get to the job sooner to boot. This is definitely one of those cases of you getting what you pay for. They are a highly skilled company, do quality work, and won't try to jerk you around for more costly or complicated solutions. If you want it fixed right the first time, give them a call."

"On the shower, They made it easy on me and did a great job. Owner is great to work with. On air conditioning, I had 4 other companies come out to look at my unit that was running constantly and not cooling well. They charged me for wrong issues and didn’t fix it. Mr Callahan immediately figured out that the company that installed the new unit put in a valve backwards. I highly recommend them for air conditioning work. I will use them from now on."

"I called Jimmy as I did not have the right tool to remove the shower cartridge which was stuck due to old deposits etc.... Thanks to Jimmy for quick response...But price seems to be little high just to remove the cartridge...The person came did not have the extra screw etc. and as Moen did not send me the long screw, I have to make another trip later to Lowes/home-depot to find the right size screw and then assemble everything... "The provided services were outstanding and very thorough. I can not recommend these guys enough!              I had called multiple plumbing companies and received inadequate customer service. I finally came across Mark Masters. From the first phone call, Mark Masters Home Services was on the job immediately to scope out the work and provide an extremely competitive estimate. They explained multiple options and the pro's and con's of each path. After deciding how we wanted to proceed, they then returned promptly to perform the rough-in work, which included adding water lines and relocating a drain line. The rough-in work was completed within about a day and they left the area very clean. After the cabinets, counter tops, and kitchen sink were installed, they returned within a day or two of my phone call to complete the plumbing finish work. This included hooking up a refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchen sink, tankless water heater, and filtration system for our coffee maker. The neatness of the install is something to complement, as you can tell no shortcuts were taken to finish the job any sooner. Several of my colleagues have been commenting on how well the lines were run and the quality of the parts used. I am extremely happy with our new kitchen/break room and this experience has made it that much better. "

"Kitchen & Bath Renovations completely remodeled our original master bathroom (1994) from the walls in - removed popcorn from ceiling, stripped wallpaper, textured and painted ceiling and walls, replaced tub, completely rebuilt shower stall, new cabinets and hardware, new toilet, new tile, new fixtures, etc. Along the way, they repaired original toilet installation issues and rebuilt the sub floor. Almost everything was done perfectly, only a few minor issues with items being crooked/unlevel, most of which were corrected. Stan was friendly, accessible, and gave us great guidance. "Storm responded promptly to my email and was able to come by the same morning. He determined that the turbines were damaged and would need to be replaced. We already had some of the roof shingles. Storm went to Home Depot and purchased the replacement turbines and installed them and replaced the necessary shingles. He inspected the roof and added some needed silicone caulk. Storm detected the smell of methane from one of the turbines and asked to take a look in the attic. He showed me where one of the bathroom vent pipes was clearly damaged and we agreed that he would return the next day to repair the pipe.

I contacted PHD for an estimate on remodeling my master bathroom, replacing my kitchen countertops/backsplash and to paint the exterior of my home.  Derek came out and walked through the process with me, making several suggestions which were very helpful.  I also received estimates from 3 other companies but I have to say the estimate provided by Derek was by far the most thorough and detailed.  Many other companies do not include all of the materials needed to complete a remodel such as tile, grout, plumbing and lighting fixtures, etc.  Derek included a very fair allowance for most of these items so the end result is a more complete estimate of the total cost.  Additionally, Derek was very responsive in providing revised estimates as I worked through the scope of what I wanted to do while trying to stay within my budget. 

Unfortunately I won't be able to proceed with my remodeling project at this time.  An elderly family member is requiring assistance with some critical  home repairs that I will be taking care of.  I decided to ask each of the contractors that I'd been working with if they would estimate this new work and all of them turned me away or referred me to local handymen except Derek at PHD.  He provided me with a quick/rough estimate which as greatly appreciated.

Ultimately PHD's estimates were the highest of the 4 estimates I received but I'll definitely consider PHD again when I'm ready to proceed with the remodeling project on my bath and kitchen.
