"I had a great experience with Lifetime Windows and Doors. I worked with Matt to purchase and install a new front door. I love my door and the accent glass, price was as expected, installation was smooth, good communication, and everyone is so nice. I would work with Lifetime again for future needs."

"We have used Johnson Home Improvement for almost all of our new windows in our house. We have been able to do smaller batches and larger batches and each time are very happy with the quality and installation process. That is why we continue to come back to Johnson Home Improvement each time. We will be completing the rest of the windows at the house over the next 12 months. About 22 windows in all."

"Hottest day of the year I find my AC not working. I contacted Gold Wrench in Gladstone, OR because I had just recently had them service the truck for something else, along with general required maintenance. This second repair was just as satisfying as the first one was. The shop is clean and the gentleman who greets you is well groomed and cordial. Just like last time they prepared an estimate and called me with the details, the expected costs and possible options. Based on their phone call I was able to make a decision on what actions should be taken and they completed the work. AC has worked like new since the repair and the cost was about what I had expected based on the quoted work...replacing hoses, gaskets and recharging, etc. The local Ford garage has recently closed and I have had to find somewhere else get the Ranger worked on. For now, I think Gold Wrench will be the place. I hope this helps."

"Lu was very professional and answered all of my questions.  For the issues on my window, she recommend that I would be less expensive to just replace the insulated gas unit instead of replacing the entire window.  She put my interests above her own need to make money.   <br /> Very professional.  I would use them in a heart beat if I needed to buy new windows. <br /> <br />"

"Eric did an EXCELLENT job. We replaced our windows last year, and while we love the look of our new Marvin windows with exterior mullions, they are super hard to clean. The windows had silicone and glue pieces stuck in some corners that only spread and smeared when we tried to clean them. (9 panes for each sash = 36 sashes per window!) I explained our frustration to Eric over the phone and I could tell right away that he was experienced and competent. I texted him pictures of the house and windows and he gave me a bid over the phone of $550. He came two weeks later (timing was fine with us) and set to work on the upper level. After four hours of intense work with his razor blades and towels, he said he would have to order some different blades in order to make the job efficient. Otherwise it would have taken him days. So he got the proper blades and came back three days later to finish. No detail was forgotten and every single window looks amazing. He was also really fun with our young boys. Eric is a solid worker and cares very much about pleasing his customers. We will definitely call him back."

"Andrew spent almost two hours with us, answering the numerous questions we had, giving us some advice, and sharing his expertise concerning the size and location of the windows. Then, Anthony and his team came about 8 weeks later to install our new windows, everything in two days (creating the new holes in the walls, installing and insulating the windows and adding the trim outside and inside), despite some unexpected problems. Rapid, efficient, accommodating, and very sympathetic, always answering our needs and questions. We are very happy with Jones Window and Door LLC and highly recommend them! Anaïs and Thomas"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Molalla, OR

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
