"I replaced the windows in my daughter's 1920's home. The window were original and drafty, plus had lead paint. Gilkey removed the material carefully and replaced the windows keeping the original design of the home. Nice, solid, beautiful windows. <br />"

"WOW! You did it again! Our newly installed windows look absolutely wonderful. We are the envy of our neighborhood. Thank you so much RWT. In 2017 you installed 5 windows & we were so pleased, we decided to replace & update more this year. Ric came to our home & provided an estimate to replace 3 double hung windows & a recommendation for 2 large outdated front picture windows. The installation team of 4 arrived on the scheduled date & time & went right into action. They worked most of the day & the outcome met & exceeded our expectations! What a professional team & what a terrific job! Once again, their process flow worked perfectly & each knew exactly what to do & when. Even when running into a challenge, they discussed a work-around plan with us, got the equipment & paint needed & completed that along with the rest. When they left, everything was cleaned up & our house looked beauitiful. Thank you RWT! You are the BEST! We are very appreciative & will definitely tell our friends & neighbors about you."

"Despite some scheduling difficulties (mostly due to uncooperative weather) I am thrilled with my new windows and the work done by Security Glass Block! Jeff was my installer and he was very prompt, professional, and friendly. He took a lot of time on our project to ensure that the windows were installed properly and beautifully. The price also could not be beat. Thanks so much Lee and Jeff! <br />"

"I was so glad to find this company. Response was prompt, friendly, professional, and helpful. The entire transaction from beginning to end went smoothly, without a hitch. Scott helped us select new shades that matched the others we had, and Mike installed them. Everything was done promptly, professionally, and well. And the price was right! I highly recommend this company!"

"<p> Based on recommendations from another Angie's list contractor that we used I called Pickens Window Service in May 2014. Based on the initial contact with Pickens we decided on a couple of projects updating the old screen doors to our house that came with the French Doors to the patio. The doors are about 30 years old and are in good shape but the screen doors were a mess. </p> <p>We had taken off the old frames to the screen doors and put them in storage for years. During that time we tried some adjustable screen doors from Home Depot but they never fit right and always came off the tracks no matter how many times we adjusted them. One day Ron Sauder ( Another Angie's List Contractor ) was installing some locks and while discussing other issues we talked about the problem with the screens. When telling Ron about the original frames he recommended getting the original doors rescreened and repaired at Pickens. That is where it all started. After contacting Pickens we sanded the old aluminum frames down, primed them a couple of times and put three coats of white enamel on them. After they dried we took them to Pickens and they did a great job of rescreening, fixing any rollers that needed repair, and replacing a missing handle on one of the doors. They also recommended some weather/bug strips to seal the gaps on the doors. They also recommended what screen material to use for the location and usage of the door. There were several to choose from and considering the high traffic area of the location we went with their recommendation and it has held up well. Nine months later and the screen doors look brand new even though they are over 30 years old. Using the original frames gave us the perfect fit screen doors that now work like they did when the doors were installed. </p> <p>After such a successful project with those two doors we then called Pickens back for another doorway where the original screen door was lost. They came out and measured the door area and built another sliding screen door to specifications They </p> also did a good job with the color match. That screen door also works great. We did both of these projects last year with Pickens Window service and could not be more pleased with the outcome. <br />"

"This is an outstanding family-owned company in the Cincinnati area, providing various options for window and door coverings. The Dad and Son from this company recently installed Hunter Douglas "true white" 3 1/2 inch louver shutters on all my windows and patio door. Both men were professional, worked together as a team, carefully, and were detail-oriented in every aspect of this project. When first meeting with this company in my home, I was impressed with the thorough explanations and clear communication given to my questions. Professionalism and kindness were obvious, and appreciated! I knew I wanted shutters, before our meeting----my favorite window covering. I'm enjoying the versatility, beauty, easy care, and simple operation that make shutters such a nice option. I have various choices for light coming into the home, by having a divider rail within the shutters to separate the top section of louvers from the lower section, allowing these sections to be opened or closed separately. A simple turn, by hand, of just one louver in the top or lower sections, turns all the louvers in that section. Louvers closed completely add some insulating to the glass. Outdoor sound is reduced, and room darkening at nighttime, is welcome, also. I chose shutters on a track for my patio door and they are easy to operate. They also add a prettier look to a plain slider door and have the same versatility as the windows. Exciting Windows! by Apollo is a wonderful company with integrity. I'm grateful for their quality product, professional installation, and being so very nice to work with!"
