"The men responded promptly to my husband's call and set a date to install the shower doors, which we had ordered from an out of state company and which had already been delivered. They came promptly - in fact, they adjusted their work schedule to accommodate a doctor's appointment which my husband had to keep. They followed the manufacturer's directions for the installation procedure, made the minor adjustments to the doors which were needed, and installed them perfectly. They worked carefully and efficiently and removed all debris when the job was completed. Payment to this company must be made by check; they do not accept credit cards. We were very pleased, and highly recommend them. We would definitely hire them again."

"Sharon was fabulous! She came over and looked over our living room/dining room area and made so many brilliant suggestions to help us redecorate. For example, we had two seating areas in the living room, each with its own area rug. She suggested a single rug, extending from one area to the other, taking into account doorways and a very awkward layout of the room. This suggestion alone was worth the cost of her advice. I never would have thought to place the rug in the area she suggested, nor the size. IT LOOKS GREAT! Sharon also took us to the Robert Allen showroom in Woodbury and was patient as my husband and I picked out fabrics for our couches and chairs. She was able to get the fabric at a great price so that we saved money from buying our couches using our own fabric. She also helped us re-fashion our drapes, even working with the installer to change the tiebacks that my husband wasn't happy with. Last night she came back with the installer (at no cost) to change them to my husband's liking. He loves them now. On top of everything, yesterday after the drapes were finished Sharon gave me a gift of notecards of her own art work depicting nature scenes, which are beatufiul. <br /> <br />"

"Just had our kitchen remodeled by SHD Construction. The owner Steve and his son did a magnificent job. They were always on time, and left our home neat and clean when they left daily, Their workmanship was superior and flawless. They removed everything in our old kitchen down to the studs and then started rebuilding the new kitchen. We had had blown in insulation in our cathedral ceiling and it all came down when they took down the ceiling Sheetrock. What a mess, but it was all cleaned up and new insulation was put in before putting up the new Sheetrock. We have lived in our home for over 40 years and have remodeled our kitchen a few times This is our DREAM kitchen. I watch many HGTV shows so I knew exactly what I wanted. Our floor is a porcelain tile that looks like wood in gray tones. Steve Jr.’s work on our floor is fantastic- the grout lines are so slim it looks like wood planks put down one next to the other. I’ve posted a picture below so you can see the floor. My farmhouse stainless kitchen sink is magnificent- I can bathe a dog or baby in it. I had custom work done on my cabinets because I wanted 3 deep pot drawers in each pantry. Steve worked with the cabinet company to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. My refrigerator is rather deep so he removed the studs in my wall behind in so that it would look like it was built in. I could go on and on about all the little details that Steve and Steve Jr. did in my kitchen but as they say a picture is worth 1,000 words so I’ve added pictures to my review. Oh yes, by the way, they painted my kitchen too- it was included in the price. I can’t say enough about the job they did and will definitely use them in the future. We were extremely happy with the results."

"Our job included enlarging our kitchen area and then placing the conservatory style sunroom attached to that. We are so pleased with the results. We did this project in 2008 as a retirement gift to ourselves. In the intervening years it has been an active center for entertainment when our children and grandchildren visit. Christmas celebrations have never been better. We retired in 2014 and now we go to our sunroom on sunny days, snowy days, stormy days because the views are spectacular. Great place to watch our favorite sports on TV. One of my favorite places to relax on beautiful blue sky days and watch the puffy white clouds fly by, from the comfort of a recliner."

"<p>We had a sunroom installed by Wendel on 7/12/06. Installation went fine BUT now years later the whole roof leaks. Several years ago a repair man came out and caulked the area where the sunroom meets the house since at the time there was only a small leak which we were able pinpoint to this area. For the most part the issue was fixed but if we had a severe rain storm we still had leaks. This year the problem is back..not only is the original leak back but the seams of the insulated roof panels are leaking. It appears that the panels have separated a little bit. While both my husband and I understand that this could be a normal issue due to the age of the roof we reached out to Wendel to have repairs made to correct the leaking issues. My husband originally called and was advised that someone would call back. He never received a call back! He then called again last week and explained again what the issues are and was told that someone would be at our house this morning, They showed up but could not fix the problems since they did not have the appropriate materials with them. I cannot believe that they showed up without any materials when my husband specifically called twice and explained what the issues are. The serviceman spoke to my husband about two possible options for repairs but did not give him any quotes for the repair options. The serviceman also mentioned that we should have maintained the roof better. I explained to him that we never had a sunroom before and no one mentioned that the roof need regular maintence at the time of installation or during the consulation when we signed the contract on 4/3/06. He looked at me and said you check your windows on your house for leaks therefore you should check the sunroom. I have windows in my house for 15 years and never had to do any maintenance on them. If we were advised from the beginning that there this room required certain maintenance we certainly would have taken care of this on a regular basis. So now my husband once again has to call their office. In the meantime we are afraid that there maybe more rain before this issue is resolved and our furniture and flooring is going to get soaked again. Because of this we have put a tarp on our roof to protect our furniture and floor from any further water damage. We originally reached out to Wendel to ensure that the issues were corrected properly and we have gotten nowhere. We are very disappointed and I would not recommend Wendel to anyone based on the way they have handled this situation. At this time we still do not have a remedy for our situation and we do not no where to go for help</p> <p>At this time a representative from Wendel has spoken with my husband and we have a date of October 4th for repair work to be done. Will update again after the repairs are completed</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Repairs were done on October 21st and we have had several bad rain storms and no water!! </p>"
