"I stared to look for a plumber after I found water under my water heater. I jumped on Angi and posted my issue. With in minutes....Art messaged me and said he can be her 1st thing in the morning. BTW. This was 10pm at night. His quick response was a plus for me. I had one other respond but he over extended himself to my need. He came at 7amd and said....you need a new water heater. I can got get one and install it now. I was a bit reluctant and he said call me when your ready and left. My wife said his prices looked fair and he seemed like a good plumber. I called him back and said lets dance. He was back at my home in a hour and 1/2...and started the work. He protected my carpet and placed plastic on it. He warned my that maybe the cost might go up due to the age of the pipes and valves. He had the old one out and the new one in an an hour or so. He was quick, clean and polite. I paid him and shuck his hand. I recommend Art for your household plumbing needs. He was excellent."

"I never submit a review until I had a chance to use a service or product. So this review is about 5-6 weeks after the install First the good: The technician/installers did a great job! Their quote was competitive. Scheduling was easy. To that end, they do very well. Second, the not so good: I was charged an extra eight hundred and fifty dollars for them to pull the city permits. From what I understand, this is a lengthy process. In the meantime, I had to get a new water heater installed. They quoted me thirty dollars to pull the city permit and told me they would submit the request and that I would be contacted to schedule an inspector to approve the install and that it was done according to the building codes. That is when I realized that GQ Heating and Air overcharged me by eight hundred and twenty dollars after confirming this with the city inspectors office. I am still figuring out what to do about this. Also, as part of the bad, I sent several emails to them in the last 2 days asking for an update on the city permit and when the inspector will be coming out. As of this review, I have not heard back. Bottom line is that the install was very good quality, the price was in the middle of the pack so it was competitive. If you need permits pulled, I would not pay them the eight hundred and fifty, but I would pay the thirty. And if you need to follow up with them, do not email them and expect an answer right away. It would probably be better to call them. I would have called them, but I am too busy at work during the hours they are open."

They arranged for a visit for an estimate within one hour. The on-site project manager was Jason V. He assessed the situation and gave us a very clear, on-the-spot estimate. After that, he went to the supplier to acquire the new water heater and other parts. They came back within an hour to start the job. Jason and his coworker Hulices took about 3 hours to complete the job. They were both extremely courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable having them at our home, and their work was outstanding. We were particularly impressed with how fast the project came together and that is was fully completed the same day. We also had guests arriving soon, and there were going to be 6 people in the house that weekend, so we couldn't risk having a damaged water heater. So, they really saved us!!"
