"Chad Dobbins and Erik Sorensen was excellent answered every questioned I had about the windows. The presentation was very informative able to touch the window and glass, low maintenance, durability and color choices. Both explained how long from now will it be 8 to 12 weeks before call to set appointment for install, describe the process of installing windows and approximately 2 day to install. We have the old row out windows since the house was built 1961 and need to be replaced. The new Anderson windows will now help with the draft and maintenance."

"They did a wonderful job.  Our project manager Nicole Reinhart came out and went over all the options with us, answered our questions, and had brochures for us to read.  She was friendly, very professional and obviously knew the product line.  She even took some paint samples from us so the windows would match the existing trim both inside and out. <br /> On installation day, we had no problems with dust or mess.  The techs did a great job and didn't break or disturb anything inside or outside the house.  The entirety of the project was done in two days.  Really impressive.  We had no problems with missed appointments or miscommunication.  (It was about three weeks between our initial consult and installation, and that was with some vacation time we took.  So no long delay should be expected.) <br /> The new windows are absolutely beautiful - with some other work we had done, it looks like a new house!  We opted for wood inside with metal outside for easier care.  We're already noticing a drastic decrease in summer temperatures in the rooms where we had the windows redone and even got a rebate from TVA for the energy efficiency.  <br /> What can we say - it's fabulous to have beautiful windows you can easily clean and see out of without problems, as opposed to the 60 year old windows we replaced.  We thought the cost was very reasonable for the work performed.  Also, we went with Pella since they have a factory in west Kentucky where our family is from - it feels great to shop locally. <br />"

"<p>We were looking for a place to make some exterior window treated into some decorative solution, as it was exposed to the neighbour’s house. We saw Palace of Glass product at one of our local glass shop on display and got fascinated by this innovative product. We end up doing 3 exterior window in the bathroom and some interior doors with the matching design. Staff was friendly and knowledgeble, the cost turn to be less than the stained glass quotes from the local shops. I would recommend them.</p> <br>"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Monterey, TN

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
