"Excellent Company. They were very responsive and were on time for the estimate. The information I received was very helpful. We had done foundation repair on our home, but there were many areas with cracks and mortar missing. Also an old intercom speaker had to be removed and there was a 2x4 inch hole in the brick from that. We thought the bid was reasonable, so contracted with them for the work. We are extremely happy with the result. There is no evidence at all of any cracks in the brick. The mortar has been filled in and everything matches completely. You can't see where any work was done. We can't even see where the hole for the intercom used to be! The work was completed in one afternoon. I would highly recommend this company. Everyone in the office and field was pleasant and easy to work with."

"Great job on my brick veneer. Great price too. Farm in and his helper Miguel were very professional. Great attention to detail and very responsive to my requests. They worked a long day to complete the job in one visit. I will be referring Farm in to everyone who asks me about a good brick mason. Highly recommended."

"Several years ago, Allied helped us convert several crushed granite walkways and the areas on each side of the house to Belgard pavers. They helped us pick the perfect color and pattern and then did a great job with the installation. What a difference it has made! Its easy to keep clean and no more granite pebbles stuck in the sole of your shoes just waiting to scratch the hardwood floors! We recently had them return to resand and relay a few areas where the ground has shifted, and once again their service was topnotch!"

"Gate was replaced in less than a day. Workmanship was excellent. Price was reasonable. We were very pleased with the end product and plan to call this company again for further jobs we need done. This is the second time we are using this company. The first time was to replace interior damage done to our home during Hurricane Harvey. The roof was damaged which lead to water damage causing a cave in of the dining room ceiling onto the dining room table. We have never dealt with this type of damage before, so to be safe we checked with the BBB. We were so glad we did. They have good reviews with the BBB. They came out and gave us an estimate which we felt was fair and we hired this company. We were extremely pleased with the repair on that damage that we didn't hesitate to call them back to replace our fence gate. We have other work that needs to be done and we plan to hire them again. "Texas Best Contractors did a wonderful job!  There was no upselling from the start. I described what I wanted, they made suggestions (which I did incorporate) and delivered.  The contractor routinely visited the site, kept an eye out for issues and quickly resolved them.  I appreciated their professionalism and consistent timely response to my concerns.   <br /> We are in an area that has strict building rules and requirements as a community in addition to the regulatory building codes.  TX Best Contractors were flexible and patient while we navigated the requirements to begin and complete the project. <br /> I would not only use them again, but do in fact have additional projects scheduled with them to complete in the near future. <br />"

"There is wasp nest in my chimney. I was thinking installing a top level damper. I was quoted of more than $1000 by 3 companies. When I talked to Hiram, I was told that it is best to install the chimney screen. It would only cost $150. He is polite and professional. He doesn't try to up-sell. I would definitely use him again. He also kindly show me the inner working of chimney gas controller."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Montgomery, TX

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
