"Greg had given us a quote for a refinished kitchen and to rebuild our old porch into a 4 seasons room.  Greg's price was great, but we did not have the budget for all the hardware and appliances for new kitchen.  So we decided to have our porch remodeled for 4 seasons room.  Greg's quote was great and so we moved forward.

His group definitely ran into many snags that were not expected.  Our porch was not built the greatest in the first place, so Greg's group had to overcome several difficulties with the remodeling.  Greg's group consisted of many caring and professional carpenters and workers that spent a long time around my property and I felt very comfortable with all of them.  They even made many accommodations for our family dog, who did not like all the construction, but everyone seemed to work around his situation.

All in all the final work was a total 180 from the original look.  Our new 4 seasons room looks fantastic and we definitely love all the detailing and work that was put in.  It did take a little longer than planned, and some parts of communication were difficult during some of the harder room transitions.  However, with that being said, Greg does excellent work and we would definitely recommend his group for any remodeling job."

"The gentlemen that showed up through a Big Deal gave me an estimate, then went to the store to purchase the cedar.  They purchased some of the wrong sizes, but went back on their own time and purchased the correct size.  The job entailed more than we originally thought due to some rotting that was underneath the deck.  They replaced the wood, cleaned up their space well and left it in good shape.

"The owner came out and clearly stated his charges.  He also answered our questions about our problem.  He set several traps and then came out several times to check and move the traps.  Within three weeks he had trapped our mole.  He probably could have gotten it sooner if the weather had not been so dry and driven the mole deeper or to another location.  As soon as it rained, the mole reappeared, which the contrator had predicted.  We were very happy with the work done.  He was punctutal and professional."

"Like thousands of other home-owners, we had hail damage to our roof and gutters this spring.  I called Sego in Mid-July, and Doug Sego came out the next day to inspect our roof, siding and gutters.  He was very thorough, and showed us the damage he was seeing and explained it to us.  He arranged to meet with t he insurance adjuster, and our claim was approved and we were put on their list.  Given how many roofs are being replaced this summer due to hail, I can't complain about the wait.  In Mid-August, John Dill came out to our house to pick up the insurance check and have us pick out shingles and sign the contract. To our very pleasant surprise, he explained that Sego would "eat" our $500 deductible and our new roof wouldn't cost us a cent.  This is their standard practice, at least for this summer.  John told us it would be about two weeks before they started.  A small crew came out on Friday, September 2 and began the work.  Our roof is very, very steep, and they worked until dark to get roofing felt on the half of the roof they had torn off.  The next morning a 3-man crew came out and began work.  Mid-afternoon, Doug Sego came by to see how it was going.  He was clearly not happy -- he told us that because of the pitch of the roof, he had written it up as a 10-man job to be done in a day and a half, and he apologized that the job was taking so long, particularly on a holiday weekend.  He immediately got on the phone and got more men out to help with the job and, with thunder rumbling in the distance, he made sure they finished shingling the first half, and got felt paper on the other half and got it ready for potential rain.  Doug and his wife Julie spent an hour themselves cleaning up our deck and yard so that rain wouldn't make a mess of things and so that the final cleanup would go more quickly.  Sunday morning , a five-man crew returned and by mid-afternoon they were finished.  They cleaned up so thoroughly you would hardly know they had been there.  All the way through the job, they were polite and extremely careful with our landscaping and patios, and except for the noise involved with roofing, they were quiet, especially compared to some of the other crews who had worked in our neighborhood.  So, all in all, it was a pretty good experience, and we will definitely call Sego for other jobs.  "
