"The owner came out and clearly stated his charges.  He also answered our questions about our problem.  He set several traps and then came out several times to check and move the traps.  Within three weeks he had trapped our mole.  He probably could have gotten it sooner if the weather had not been so dry and driven the mole deeper or to another location.  As soon as it rained, the mole reappeared, which the contrator had predicted.  We were very happy with the work done.  He was punctutal and professional."

"After a recent hail storm I called my insurance company. They sent out an adjuster who gave me an appraisal that omitted several things that were damaged. The insurance company also omitted compensation for the extra cost of repairing a steep roof and even shorted us on the amounts of roofing material required. They also omitted the drip edge and ice and water shield. After reviewing the insurance companies report I called Sanders Home Restorations. I have hired Chris Sanders' company on two previous occasions. A roof replacement and basement drywall repair and repainting. Sanders provided excellent, timely service on both of the previous jobs.
Chris inspected the damages and pointed out all of the insurance companies omissions to me. He then scheduled a re-appraisal and was present when the  insurance appraiser returned.  Chris went over the entire roof and guttering along with the appraiser and got us compensated for all of the damages to our home.  The roofing and gutter crew were very hard working people. They were on the job  when promised, and completed their work on time. Both crews provided excellent work and completely cleaned up afterwards. Don't be concerned about the few reviews that have been written about this company, any additional handymen projects in the future that I have will be completed by Steve and one of his men. "Like thousands of other home-owners, we had hail damage to our roof and gutters this spring.  I called Sego in Mid-July, and Doug Sego came out the next day to inspect our roof, siding and gutters.  He was very thorough, and showed us the damage he was seeing and explained it to us.  He arranged to meet with t he insurance adjuster, and our claim was approved and we were put on their list.  Given how many roofs are being replaced this summer due to hail, I can't complain about the wait.  In Mid-August, John Dill came out to our house to pick up the insurance check and have us pick out shingles and sign the contract. To our very pleasant surprise, he explained that Sego would "eat" our $500 deductible and our new roof wouldn't cost us a cent.  This is their standard practice, at least for this summer.  John told us it would be about two weeks before they started.  A small crew came out on Friday, September 2 and began the work.  Our roof is very, very steep, and they worked until dark to get roofing felt on the half of the roof they had torn off.  The next morning a 3-man crew came out and began work.  Mid-afternoon, Doug Sego came by to see how it was going.  He was clearly not happy -- he told us that because of the pitch of the roof, he had written it up as a 10-man job to be done in a day and a half, and he apologized that the job was taking so long, particularly on a holiday weekend.  He immediately got on the phone and got more men out to help with the job and, with thunder rumbling in the distance, he made sure they finished shingling the first half, and got felt paper on the other half and got it ready for potential rain.  Doug and his wife Julie spent an hour themselves cleaning up our deck and yard so that rain wouldn't make a mess of things and so that the final cleanup would go more quickly.  Sunday morning , a five-man crew returned and by mid-afternoon they were finished.  They cleaned up so thoroughly you would hardly know they had been there.  All the way through the job, they were polite and extremely careful with our landscaping and patios, and except for the noise involved with roofing, they were quiet, especially compared to some of the other crews who had worked in our neighborhood.  So, all in all, it was a pretty good experience, and we will definitely call Sego for other jobs.  "
