"Andy, Rob, Jeremiah and Dave were pleasant to work with and did excellent work. They give great attention to detail and take pride in their work. They matched the color of the mortar to the original on our historic home. Damaged bricks were repaired to perfection. Previous flaws are imperceptible. And, after cleaning, the 100 year old brick looks like new."

"This was my second time using A-List Concrete. The outstanding work they accomplished replacing damaged sidewalk sections at my old home made this a no-brainer decision. Ron and his Team did another AMAZING job replacing the damaged concrete walkway at my new home. The workmanship is top-notch and the price was very reasonable. I was really impressed (again) by their attention to detail, including the clean-up. They even carefully replaced the sod pieces on my lawn, in addition to ensuring that my lawn and adjacent driveway was completely clean after the job. I give A-List Concrete my HIGHEST recommendation for ANY concrete work you may need in the South Jersey area."

"Hired Need a Handyman to totally re-do our family room. The room had dark panelling on 3 of the walls with no drywall behind 2 of the walls. We needed the paneling removed, drywall installed, the whole room spackled and painted, new molding painted and installed and the ceiling painted. I will admit that it did take awhile from the time we signed the contract to the time they started the job. Most of the delays were health-related on the part of the 2 workers. But I will say that whenever I followed up with calls about the job status, they always returned my calls promptly. Once they started, they worked diligently to get the work done in a timely manner. They started on a Monday and the job was done by Friday. They were very punctual and arrived every morning at the time they had planned. They were very professional, very easy to work with and very friendly and cooperative. We love our new room - can't believe it's the same room. So thrilled with the quality of work they provided and I would definitely look to hire them again in the future for another job."

"Ron visited us and clearly explained all the options. The next day he called us with a quote that specified exactly the work to be done. <br /> On day one, Rick arrived to install the door. He did a masterful job and left the place completely clean at the end of the day. The next day Carlos, Ron's glass block installer, arrived on time and stayed late to keep to the schedule Ron had outlined for us. The next day he also arrived at the agreed upon time and completed the installation exactly as Ron had outlined. We're delighted with the quality of work we received from Eastern Glass Block. Ron is a terrific businessman. <br />"

"Our chimney had been partially toppled (about 4-5 rows of bricks were knocked off or knocked askew) by a shade tree's branch in a heavy storm. I called Bob since he was a local provider, and even though I called on a weekend, he came out quickly the next day to look at the damage. He called me back (after making his initial inspection, during which I wasn't home) with an estimate of $830 to repair the chimney, add a stainless steel cap and crown, and cut the tree's branch back so that it wouldn't do any further damage. He told me that wouldn't be doing the work himself; that he's too old for rooftop work anymore, but that he has a long-trusted employee to take care of it. He also warned me that while they always try to maintain the appearance of the chimney, many of the bricks had been knocked off and might have to be replaced. I didn't get any competitive bids, so I don't know how his price compares, but it seemed fair to me. So, I gave him the go-ahead (along with a $100 deposit) and we set a tentative date of March 30, weather permitting. Of course, on March 30 it rained all day. The next day, though it was sunny and Bob's guy was there from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. He replaced and mortared all the bricks, taking the time to scour the yard for all of the errant pieces. It turns out, he was able to find all of them, and it looks to me like they all went back exactly as they were. He also trimmed the tree and installed the cap and crown, and everything looks great. It was a truly painless process, and a welcome resolution to a potentially costly (and dangerous) problem. I'm happy to have found Bob and Alpine, and would gladly contact them again for any related needs in the future. I understand Bob installs and services fireplaces and BBQs as well, although I'll have to wait for our house to stop having costly accidents before I call him for those kinds of luxuries!"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Moorestown, NJ

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
