She contacted them late in the day and he showed up right away. He was able to stop the flooding giving the sump pump the ability to drain the water overnight. He came back the next morning, used the camera to detect where the blockage was, which he then cleared and was able to repair the line and repipe where the washer connected to the sewage line. He was courteous, professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. His pricing was fair for the work he did and he is someone that I highly recommend in an emergency as well as under normal circumstances. Robert Hernandez is a true professional and Iâ m grateful for his expertise and service. "A hard rain caused the patio drain of our 100+year old house in Brooklyn to back up, flood the patio and prevent us from flushing our toilets. (You said you wanted detail so here goes.)  Instead of going into the sewer, the contents of the toilets emptied onto the patio. (Gasp!)   After one plumber worked for three hours he couldn't solve the problem, and two other plumbers (one from Angie's List) passed on even trying. One plumber said we need a "drain specialist" and referred us to Kenny at Response Service Group.
When I called Kenny his response was immediate, detailed and professional. He took time over the phone to ask me several questions to help him assess our situation. After ten minutes we set an appointment for the next day and Kenny was there the next morning. He first checked out our house and plumbing set-up, and then he and his assistant set to work with a "super-snake."  Within two hours he had cleared the clog and we were happily flushing our toilets again and the patio drain was dry as a bone. "Dave arrived at the property on time and from the start I appreciated his professionalism.  He was very knowledgeable about the home's construction and immediately noticed safety hazards that I had overlooked upon my own, limited, cursory inspection.  None of the items he pointed out were deal-breakers, but before we went into final contract I was able to get the Sellers to repair these deficiencies (loose front pavers and handrails, leaking basement sink, uneven pavers around the pool, etc.).  He indicated which parts of the outdoor backyard wooden deck were subject to wood-rot and he also pointed out parts of the roof that might need a professional roofer to later address.  He pointed out that the water heater was ending it's useful life (over ten years old) and his concerns about the electric panel box (wattage input and wiring) were later addressed by the Seller to my satisfaction.  The professionals he brought in for the septic tank inspection utilized fiber optics, permitting a full examination of the septic tank, verifying that a new septic system had indeed been installed, correctly, as the Seller had asserted.  From the darkest corner of the basement to the dimly lighted attic, Dave gave valuable insights as to the construction-quality of the house.  I was very satisfied with his thorough report and the reports of the other inspectors.  Without reservation, I recommend Dave Polo & Associates very much!"

"They came out and noticed that there was a low charge on the heat pump and noticed that there was some corrosion on some of the pipes so they figured there may be a leak in the system. As a result I will be getting a new unit altogether that is covered by the home warranty that Choice has provided. The only out of pocket cost that I need to pay for is any modifications and fabrication that needs to happen to integrate the new system. So in total I am paying $550 for a $5000 system."
