"Vinyl by Voiles. That is who you should hire for your interior renovation, exterior siding or window needs. We wanted a concrete slab that had served as our patio for 20 years removed and replaced with a twice the size deck, with railing on one side, and a new patio door leading into the kitchen. Within less than a month (they fit us in to some larger projects) the diagonal slated wooden deck, (which will get stained next year) with a railing and perfect egress in and out of the kitchen, was installed. The removal of the concrete was tricky because of steel rods through the original construction. They pressed on! They also drove miles to get to us, explained everything they were doing, and tidied along the way (and did a complete clean up at the end). The patio door is still to come, but I can’t help but think that the same attention to detail will be used with its installation. One hears that home improvement professionals can be unreliable, that construction companies can be incredibly disruptive, that renovation projects can take MONTHS, and that all of it can seem prohibitively expensive. Turned out that none of that was true, that there are small businesses in the world that are there for you every step of the way, that was Vinyl by Voiles. We are still pinching ourselves over our luck in choosing them over a much larger company, having our deck in record time; in time to enjoy THIS summer, and in becoming fast buddies in a world with little time and high expectations. Thanks especially to Fil and Health (who we kept referring to as Phil and Keith, “oh, everybody does that,” they said. Still, we apologized on their last day.) Thanks, John Voile, for coming to our house, fitting us into a BUSY schedule, communicating by text, and having a great crew. Oh, yeah, and the new deck? It’s amazing. "Contacted Jack's Roofing for a aged roof (which by chance was after a storm).  The company came, gave a written estimate detailing what would be done and type of shingle that would be used.  Due to the storm, their crews were busy and lots of rainy days but they made it back as soon as they could so I cannot fault them there.  They had the roof done within 1 1/2 days, the crew working hard but competently.  There was no mess left in the yard and they checked for nails (with the rolling magnetizer).  I had checked with the State Attorney General's office before hiring and there were no complaints.  They were also insured and Jack has a current license (verified by the state).  His prices are quite reasonable in my opinion and his work quality is very good.  The owner has several years experience with roofing and he checked on the job when the work was complete.  I would definitely use this company again."

"They were expensive but good. They were experienced. The price I really didn't know if that's high so it might be comparative to the people especially when they took off the old, put on brand new roof. They didn't put new wood on, but they took off the old and put on the new roof, so it was probably okay. I'm not a roofer but I'm sure that it was good. I got up to 20-year guarantee on it. I put the letter that I approved to have him to do it, and he never did get back to me at all. I had to call them like two weeks later, but what had happened, he had a big mailbox at the front of his house, I guess they didn't really use and then a regular mailbox, and I put in the big mailbox since I thought was for the roofing stuff. They never even opened that box up. So, I called up, then he went out and found that my insurance okayed it. The guys were really nice. I didn't see the owner really anymore it's the guys that work me, and they're all were nice to me."

"They hauled away thet old furnace and swept the area before putting a new one in. The installation went very smoothly. They were very prompt and I was very satisfied. When I had the front door done, it was also done on time and with no mess. I have also purchased stainless steel appliances from them. They installed the refridgerator, microwave, dishwasher and stove all at the same time. I had no problems with this situation, either. Marsha Elliot is the lady that is in charge of At Home Services. She was very nice to set everything up for me and I got free estimates."
