"First meeting for estimate went very well. Jason Holliday is very personable and charming. He was referred by a neighbor who alllowed me to come into her house and inspect the window installation in her house. It was excellent. Jason was replacing 10 windows that had been installed by another company that completely botched the job and walked away. Jason’s installer completed the job in 2 different days (was supposed to be done in one) because one window arrived damaged and they very quickly had another one made and quickly arrived to install and the job was completed. Jason was kind enough to write a letter for me (after some begging) to describe the faults of the other company to help me get my money back and they finally admitted fault and returned my money (after fighting about it for 2 years!) I am very satisfied with the final job and would hire again and already have given referral to a co-worker."

"This is the second time we have had Lowe's install a storm door in one of our homes.  We buy the Tradewinds storm door from them and have them install it.   <br /> They sent out Matt to measure and make sure there wouldn't be any issues with the installation.  When the special order door came in they called and came out within 2 or 3 days to install it. <br /> Always happy with their door and installation process. <br />"

"Our tub looks like it is brand new! Before the work was done, our tub was peeling from a previous refinishing job, and looked and felt terrible. The technician was very professional and explained exactly what the job would entail. Everything was taped well and the rest of the tile and fixtures were kept clean. The tub looks beautiful and with a two year warranty, I feel very confident in their workmanship. Everyone from the person who spoke with me on the phone to the tech were polite and explained the process very well."

"Excellent service, quality work. Joe was very responsive and communicative. He obviously takes pride in his work, and the shower looks great. What impressed me most was that during the initial installation he noticed the smallest imperfection in the glass, one that I most likely wouldn’t have noticed for months, if ever. He offered to complete the installation, so that we wouldn’t be without a shower for 2 weeks while he ordered a replacement pane. Then he came out and installed the replacement pane at no additional cost. So impressed. Thanks Joe!"

"This was an unbelievably good experience with this company. Nate Van Valkenburg and his crew were the ultimate professionals. Came on time. Took off their shoes when they came in the house.Did all the inside of the windows at one time, so I could go run errands.  Put protective shrouds over our shrubs and moved our potted plants out of the way, and all plants and furniture off the front porch. Very respectful of our property.  Added missing screws to storm windows where needed. Washed part of garage even though that was not part of the deal. And they cleaned up after they were through. <br>You could not ASK for a better experience, better service and nicer people.  <br>"

"Working with Vini was a wonderful experience. I needed someone who could help me start updating my townhouse before moving to Charleston from another city. Vini was able to provide an estimate, complete the work, and keep me updated through phone calls and pictures without hesitation. He honored the coupon listed in the profile and his quote was nearly half that of two other companies I contacted. The work included scraping popcorn ceilings and painting the entire interior including ceilings, walls, and trim of an 1100sqft home. I have not seen the final work in person but the pictures look incredible!"

"Joe is the most professional mechanic I have ever dealt with for service. I totally trust him which is important since I know that mechanics can pad prices or simply not know what they are doing. Even with an oil change, I know that if he tells me that I have a leak or I need brake work, I can believe him. I know I pay a good price for this service, but his experience and expertise is well worth work an extra $10 bucks. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Mount Pleasant, SC

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
