"First off, calling any Door or Window company around here is a crap shoot and nothing but high pressure to close the deal. Most use this tactic of requesting both spouses be home to have better odds of selling you.....that is a joke. But let me tell you we called Legacy windows and Doors and this guy Mark shows up who is totally down to earth, professional and NO high sales pitch. We live in a woods that is very damp all year and really **** ** anything wood, so I know I wanted to go with some vinyl replacements but not break the bank. Mark took a look around the house, I explained what I was thinking and he listened to everything and came up with a great triple pane replacement window plan. A really good middle of the road replacement window for our neighborhood. At no time did I feel pressured or have that feeling of kicking him out of the house because he wasn't listening and was just trying to up sell us to something we didn't need. It really was a no-brainer to go with Legacy. We signed the deal, about 3 or 4 weeks later the windows came. Mark's crew was totally awesome, very professional and real craftsmen who knew what they were doing, and didn't take them long at all. I don't say this very often but very trustworthy and they seemed to care about the smallest of details. I would also add communication with Mark was great and prompt. Trust me, this company is worth the call and they may operate in Indy and Carmel but they have a very small town feel and attitude. I would use Legacy Windows and Doors again in a heartbeat. Owner Mark is a rare find in an industry where you feel like you're constantly being ripped off....no problem with a 5 star rating."

"Our front door had been damaged by an attempted break-in for years and was getting progressively worse. We were pretty much unable to open it some days last winter. The salesperson that came out was friendly and well-informed. He went through all of our options and we decided on both a new front door and a new sliding glass door to the patio. The front door had many options that we went through which included the style of the door, the inside and outside colors and the style of the windows on either side of the door. He provided us with a quote which we accepted and he gave us what turned out to be a very accurate timeframe of when the doors would be installed. As we waited for the doors to be installed, Bee Window kept us apprised of where we were in the process and we worked out a couple areas in which there were questions. Installation day was scheduled and the installers arrived on time. It took a few hours for both doors to be installed. Before leaving, the installer guided me through opening and locking both doors and answered any questions that I had. They did a great job cleaning up the mess, both inside and outside of the house. The only negative I had with the entire process is that I felt that the price was a bit high. But after having the doors, and especially the new front door, I am more satisfied with this purchase than any other home improvement purchase I have made over the past 20+ years. The door is fantastic -- it closes properly and keeps the sound out and has zero gaps and looks absolutely beautiful."

I talked with the and quot;head guyand quot; about my roof indicating I had lost several shingles and he said he would come and check it out. I had purchased an Angies List voucher for a roof inspection and minor repair. We discussed this and I understood it, of course, would not include roofing.

After touring my roof he said all the roof cap shingles would have to be replaced and gave me a price. No, he did not discount the $79 I had paid for the AL voucher(?). Seemed to think that was okay. Said it would take x number of shingle bundles. He left for quite a while...said he crew would be there within 30 minutes..wrong again. He arrives, crew arrives. Heard him and crew talking and crew said it wouldn't take nearly that many bundles. He comes in to leave and collect (before job is completed). I said not paying until job is done, besides heard the conversation so need to change price. We did.

Overall, he was arrogant, indifferent and not pleasant to deal with. However, his crew was wonderful. Worked hard and at the end did some extra for me. I feel sorry for them having to work for such a pompous person.

"The paint and work is guanteed, I've had to call them back for caulk issues in 2010 and 2012 but they have always been responsive and very friendly. They did a good job on my house and I have been very happy with my paint job. It was a  decision between hoosier permanant coating or siding and this was the least expensive way to go. I would do it again. Paul the owner has been very easy to work with and Anita has always been friendly and efficient. Thanks guys, good job."

"The project manager, Randy Wilson was very professional and courteous. He worked with our insurance company and took care of everything. The crews were so nice. We were impressed at how quickly the roof went on and how cleaned up everything was when they finished. We will definitely use them again."
