"We had two issues two different times. One was a washer leak. Derek came the day after I called and had it fixed within 30 minutes. The second issue was a smell. Like mildew or something. Again, Derek came the day after we called. He took the entire tub out of the washer and took it outside and scrubbed it. Put it all back together, and was finished within an hour. It hasn't smelled since. Amazing customer service. I wouldn't waste my time calling anyone else. 10 out of 10 service."

"It went great, this is a unique service, for DIY-ers. My electric dryer wouldn’t heat, so I went on line and diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I also watched several how to videos, but none of them matched my dryer. Finally went on Angie’s list and it matched me up with Tin Lizzee which is a chat service to help you through your repair. The technician I talked with was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I did get stuck during the repair and they called me on my cell and talked me through what I needed to do. "The repair tech was excellent. He took the time to explain the problem and show us what needed to be done. The big thing, he could have easily racked up extra fees by replacing the back cover and pushing the dryer back in place but gave us the option to leave it out and sabe some labor fees. This is a big Electrolux dryer with LOTS of screws needed to replace the back and top cover. Would be a half hour just to do that, only to take it all a part again when he came back out to put the new part in. We would highly recommend Smock and they will be the very first ones we call if we need any other repairs."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
