"I came home from work to find our 40-gallon water heater was not working (it was working that morning). The pilot was out and I could not get it re-lit (I do know how to light a pilot) After checking a number of companies on Angie's List, I contacted DB's Plumbing and Drain. Although it was almost 6pm, a very nice person answered the phone and I explained my dilemma. I was told they could send someone that night but would have to charge an after-hours rate. I was reasonably certain what was wrong would not be a simple fix like re-lighting a pilot so scheduled a visit for the following morning between 10 am and 12 noon. Michael D arrived shortly after 10 am. He was very courteous, polite and professional. Before entering my home, he donned a pair of shoe covers which was kept on as long as he was in the house. He diagnosed the problem as being a failed main burner system. As the water heater was 14-years-old, I weighed the cost of replacing just the main burner system on such an old unit against replacing the unit itself. I opted for the water heater replacement. Michael setup the old unit to drain while he went to retrieve the new one from their warehouse which took him about 45 minutes. Upon his return, he removed the old unit and cleaned up the area. He then cut back the existing copper lines to eliminate the numerous soldered couplings from the previous homeowner's repairs. He installed new copper pipes including a new quarter turn shut-off valve. A catch pan was placed and the water heater setup in it. Up reconnecting the gas line, he installed a sediment trap or drip leg (it did not have one previously) which catches sediment sometimes present in natural gas. After bringing the system online, Michael checked the gas line connections for leaks using a detection monitor. The installation was clean and neat and it is obvious Michael is conscientious about his work. Always interested in how things in my home work, Michael was very gracious in answering my questions regarding the installation. I am very happy with the install.and would like to thank Michael for his professionalism and the education."

"Had a leak in main water line. Collected estimates and methods in replacing the water line. I am glad I found The Water Line Group on the web in researching best methods to replace house main water line. After calling The Water Line Group, Geary came the same day to review best method to replace the main water line. What I liked about his estimate it included two methods with no extra cost and very reasonable compared to other estimates. Work schedule was set up less than a week. I was impressed by the crew led my Jamie. They successfully did the trenchless method from the original connection to the water meter with no disturbance to house, front porch, tree, scrubs and driveway. They have the pull water pipe method down to a high success rate. I highly recommend The Water Line Group."

Crew came 9am Tuesday and water was back on by noon. Great communication, service, price and warranty. You canâ t go wrong with American Plumbing, Inc if you need your water main repaired or replaced!"

"I worked with Prince William Plumbing to have the leak in our main water line on our front yard repaired. They are honest, affordable, reliable, punctual and professional. We have been completely satisfied with our decision. John came to our house the same day I called in and gave us a quote. Instead of trying to convince us replacing the whole water line, he said a repair should be enough. He offered us a 5 year warranty. Most important of all, his price was much more affordable than others. It was almost too good to be true. He honored 5% Angie’s List customer coupon on the top of that. John has done the repair with his assistant. They answered all my questions patiently. They cleaned up the area nicely after the job is done. John is very experienced. He is a long time resident of Nokesville, a nice town in Prince William county. You get the friendly treatment of a small town neighbor in city when you work with John. He is a great family man with six kids. We will definitely call him again with our plumbing needs. Thanks to Angie’s List, I have finally found a reliable and affordable plumber."

"Very well. The pipe had a pinhole leak in a copper elbow joint and required cutting the pipe, in a confined space, to drain standing water. G**** Miranda did a remarkable job repairing the pipe and an adjacent supply pipe I elected to have repaired in case its joint might leak. Workmanship was exceptional, potential mess and additional Sheetrock damage was minimized, G**** Miranda worked tirelessly for 3 hours and produced a satisfactory repair."

"First rate emergency replacement of a burst residential main water pipe in the front yard. Nate provided a very competitive bid and highly competent service to complete work in a very short period of time. Surface disturbance was minimal and cleaned up on project completion. County inspections passed flawlessly. No reservations in recommending Clearwater Plumbing & Repair, Inc., to meet the plumbing repair needs of HomeAdvisor subscribers."

"SwiftPro was excellent. When our hot water heater went out (at nearly 20 years old, we were neither upset nor surprised!) we reached out to a few places but SwiftPro was the most responsive and had the price was fair. Zabi, the service technician was fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about him. He was prompt, provided excellent communication, took meticulous care with the work and work space, and was just a great person to talk to. The install went great and there was no aggressive sales tactics or upselling. Just a genuine cut and dry hot water heater removal and install experience. I highly recommend SwiftPro. Thanks Zabi!"

"I found water on the floor of my basement! Horrors! I got 3 estimates and chose T.QEXCAVATION.Plumbing to do the fix. I liked the work ethic of Terence, the owner who was the guy who did the job. He kept me informed of what was happening and how the project was going, turned the water on when he could and off when he needed to so I had water off and on instead of not which meant the world to me. The job is done, I'm happy with the result and would recommend T.QEXCAVATION.PLUMBING to anyone in need of any kind of plumbing job. He is my plumber from now on."

"The original project I hired them for was to replace leaky faucets in both the kitchen and bathroom. Frank, the owner, was responsive and professional. They scheduled the work promptly and showed up on time. Unexpected issues were discovered that required a second trip and additional work. They communicated everything clearly and the additional costs were handled separately and transparently. They also cleaned up after the work was done. I would hire them again."

"Mr. Burnett provided excellent plumbing service. He replaced my toilet in the bathroom and water hoses for my wash machine. I appreciated his care, skills, and professionalism, I highly recommend Mr. Burnett for plumbing work."
