"Job was completed within time frame given. Very professional and takes pride in his work. We couldn’t have been happier with the job he did. He repaired some pre-existing issues with our house at a very reasonable rate. Such as; replacing 8 cracked windows, replacing rotten wood under the eves and building three new porch columns. His bid for our house was competitive to other bids we received. Would I hire him again? You bet. Am I recommending him? You bet."

"I knew that I was going to need very good help with this water heater replacement. The old one was 22 years old and had a lot of sediment in it. Also the location was difficult to get to. Jack sheduled the appointment to fit my schedule. Brad and Mickey arrived promptly and tackled the situation. As expected, the drain was clogged and the tank was way too heavy to lift out without draining. When using air pressure failed, they pulled out a shop vac, jerry-rigged a small hose on the end and slowly suck out enough water to allow the tank to be lifted out. They're one of the best crews I've ever had working for me. I have my mechanic, my electrician, and now I have my plumbers. I'll never use anyone else and I highly recommend them."

"My customary garage door service company - of long standing - simply could not accommodate my emergency need.  I located Chuck's  garage door repair service on Google.  Altho he did not have an 'opening', he recognized the danger it might pose to children in the household, as well as my reluctance to expose contents of my garage to the world at large over the entire weekend - so - he 'found' time to repair my garage door this evening.  He completed the work in a an exemplary fashion.  I recommend him highly and will certainly call him in the future for needed repairs."

"I found Dorian Dyer's original paintings to be thought provoking and yet peaceful at the same time. <br /> He creates scenes of a simple and pure love using subjects such as eagles, geese, buffalo, people, the Earth, and the cosmos.  All of Dorian's art expresses a connection with one another and all life.   <br /> With an initial gaze at Dorian's paintings you may see an abstract or New Age piece of art, but when you relax and take a few moments to look deeper, an inner knowing of the masterpiece of all life will come forward.  There is love, beauty, and a gentle reminder of God's presence within each piece of art. <br /> <br />"

"Doug's a good guy.  He started on time and ended on time. Doug (and his brother) did a great job.  He tore out the existing carpet in the bedroom and laid down a laminate wood floor.  He also tore out existing shelving in the walk-in closet and laid down laminate wood floor and installed a washer/dryer.  He had to tap into plumbing lines in the adjacent bathroom for the washer which went well.  We also painted both rooms, including trim.  One nice touch was Doug had recommendations to improve the project, without necessarily adding costs.   Skilled, punctual, reasonably priced and nice.  I can recommend Doug for remodel projects. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We moved from Florida, home of giant flying cockroaches, and I thought we <br /> wouldn't deal with that in North Little Rock, but I was wrong. <br /> I don't think my landlord had ever treated the house since she owned it so it <br /> was pretty bad. I contacted McCauley to get an estimate after talking to <br /> a couple of other companies. They were extremely responsive, answered <br /> all my questions ahead of time, and gave me a reasonable estimate so I <br /> scheduled a visit. Also, I try very hard to stay away from using pesticides and told them that <br /> and they respected that and suggested the treatments that would require <br /> the least long term pesticides and additional treatments. The visit included dusting the crawl space, sprayed <br /> around the foundation of the house, inside the house along all the walls <br /> and behind furniture/appliances, and the garage. For the first few days <br /> after I had a lot of bugs (babies, adults, and everything in between) <br /> still coming out and dying but it slowly got better but we will still <br /> need them to come back out to follow up. I have talked to their office <br /> twice with concerns that we still see some bugs which they agreed <br /> shouldn't have been happening so soon after but due to scheduling <br /> constraints on my side I haven't been able to get them back out but will <br /> have them back out to see if we can try a couple of more options. <br />"

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Mountain Home, AR

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
