"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. "Great. We just purchased a house built in 1944 that hadn't been professionally painted since it was built. The cabinets were a disaster inside, the closets were bare wood, the molding was two different colors. There was wood panelling in the family room. Greg's bid was by-far the most complete and accurate. He told me up front that this would be a complicated job requiring extensive patchwork (plaster) and multiple priming coats. Other bidders came in cheaper, but I'm now certain they underestimated the time it would take or the complexity. Greg was up front, he said it would take two weeks to do the job right, and he was spot on. He was even flexible when another contractor was unable to complete their work on time. Enter Ron Maack, who not only agreed to take the job on short notice, but volunteered to come out on Saturday July 4th (!) to install our new door. Ron went out of his way, from picking up the door for us to taking it back and dealing with the door company when we found out our door's rough opening wasn't quite as tall as a standard one. Once we finally got all the pieces to the site, Ron did the job quickly and cleanly, and our entry now looks as good as new.
