"Old (original with the house) heavy wooden garage door needed replaced. Gave me an estimate for the new insulated door, and agreed to re use the existing opener. The arrived on time on the day of replacement, performed the work in a professional and relatively quiet manor, After hooking up the old opener we discovered the internal gears were stripped and the opener would need to be replaced as well. He recommended that I purchase a unit myself that was on sale at Menard's and he would install it. Came back as promised and installed the new opener, everything works great."

"Alex, the salesman, was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job of matching woodwork, siding and other windows that were not replaced. He was helpful, professional and did not use pressure to purchase the most expensive products. He worked with us on financing. Mike Ward and his crew of Justin and 2 other young men were prompt and professional. Their work was excellent and they cleaned up afterwards and vacuumed the carpet. After the windows were installed, they demonstrated how the windows worked. The new windows are high quality. We plan on using Renewal by Anderson to replace other windows and doors."

"The new roof is great. Due to the roof vent, air circulation is much improved. We no longer use a space heater in our bedroom. <br /> We thought we were entitled to the discount advertised on Angie's list, but because we did not mention it until after we were given the price quote we were told we did not qualify. If you mention the Angie's list discount before the price quote they can simply tack the amount on to the quote. <br /> Frankly, I feel we were cheated and the discount was always meaningless. <br />"

"It took somewhat longer than expected to get the work scheduled, but there were some unexpected health issues among the crew. We were not in a rush, so it didn't bother us. The cost was high compared to other estimates we obtained, but we felt it was justified because of the professionalism and knowledge displayed by Chad Ebbert--he gained our trust. The crew that worked on our house was very professional and friendly, and moved all of our furniture/took paintings and electrical face plates off the walls. There are only a very few mistake spots in a HUGE job that we have found (one small paint splatter from one color onto another which we can easily fix with leftover paint that was left, and one brush mark on some ugly curtains--I should probably replace those, anyhow). We are pleased with the results."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"Prompt, professional and quality work. Cleaned up each evening. Only complaint is that they did not reinstall the gutters they took down leaving my driveway a skating rink this winter."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Muncie, IL

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
