"During a recent cold spell we had ICE form on the inside of the windows. Not just a little frost but solid ICE. When I called Thermal Windows about this issue they replied that they have had several calls during this cold spell with the same issue. They proceeded to tell me this was normal, then listed all the things I could do to reduce the amount of ice on the windows. 1- Remove window coverings ( I do not have any) 2- Reduce the humidity in the house ( currently at 31%). 3- Place a fan at each window to circulate air. These windows were installed by them, on a new construction house a little over a year ago. FROM INSTALLATION TO CUSTOMER THIS IS NOT THE SAME COMPANY IT WAS JUST A FEW YEARS AGO. "You should probably add 4-6 weeks to the expected delivery date if you expect to need the "enclosed" hardware. I received the blinds in the estimated time, but it came without the required hardware. I have made 4 calls (at least) over several weeks, but the hardware is nowhere in site. It is clear that SelectBlinds.com is a marketing company only has outsourced all production and fulfillment to third parties and evidently has a difficult time coordinating these type of customer service issue. Extremely frustrating that my blinds have been sitting in the floor for over a month and all I need is a few screws. Happy to go to Home Depot to get the screws, but SelectBlinds can't even tell me what sizes I need."
