"He contacted me within one hour.He was on time even early which is great for Sarasota. He replaced my pool pump and then came back to repair some pipes that were letting air into my pump. He was very pleasant and specializes in repairs not just a pool guy. I have had some issues for a while and he fixed everything where others have failed. So I would highly recommend him. He also installs heat pumps."

"I've have used several pool service providers in the past three years who have not only disappointed me but made having a pool a nightmare. Other companies have left me hanging without use of my pool for many days but Sweetwater has bent over backwards to see this does not happen. "This is a footnote to my previous review, which I've been meaning to write and am finally getting around to... Unfortunately, after the job was finished and I posted my review, my pool technician noticed metal staining in the pool, due to screws and metal fly away that had fallen in during the re-screening job. This was because many of the old screws had to be sawed off. In hindsight, if they had covered the pool before working on the screening, this could've been prevented. I have to have my pool acid washed to get rid of these stains which will entail draining the pool. I hope that they will consider taking this precaution in the future. Otherwise, as I said in my last review, they were very good."

"We purchased a home with a pool in May 2021, the pool was installed by original owner in 2014 and at time of purchase we were told the pool had had no issues whatsoever. Being that the pool was almost 8 years old we knew we were going to have some upcoming expenses. Edgar was the person we turned to and as being new pool owners he took the time to explain what each part did and if it needed to be replaced he explained thoroughly why and was available ALWAYS to answer any of our questions. We have replaced actuators, lites, pool pumps, pool heater, spa jets…you name it our older pool needed it and Edgar was on it. He was on site within hours with every issue we had and was replacing parts either the same day or the next for sure. He even caught some major issues with our tiling on our spa due his years of experience and Extensive knowledge on pools and pointed out we had a potential problem on our hands. Since we fully trusted Edgar and he had never led us astray, we decided to have all the tiling removed on the spa which also required new pebbletec replacement on the entire pool…a very expensive and messy undertaking. But as always Edgar was correct and not only had the wrong tile been used which was shedding glass, we had mold and several soft spots in the pool that would have originally caused a leak. Edgar is the only one we would trust with our pool! He personally comes out to speak with us and explain issues as well as stops in when his crew is doing the work. I wish I had the trust with all of my contractors the way I do with Edgar and his company but at least with our pool…we have peace of mind that Edgar is our guy!! Thanks Edgar…you are priceless and we appreciate all your hard work!!"

"Groves Pool Service was Awesome; I was diagnosed wit stage 4 cancer and unable to maintain the equipment and maintainance. I called Home Advisor and Groves was recommended. I spoke to Bryan, owner, and upon learning of my need, sent a technician out to assist with equipment and provided the first month of service free. Then he and his wife, Michelle reduced the monthly fee to assist us. The entire team are first class and reflect Christian values and compassion.
