"just now I had Polar Seal Windows installed in November 2019. In January 2019, I had my first leak and in February I had my second leak- water pouring in from the top. The installer came in put up a temporary fix of mounting a sheet of aluminum as an overhang. He’s not returning my phone calls or visits. When I emailed Polar Seal they it off and seemed unconcerned and unreliable. Even though the windows are not even six months old, they seem to say the temporary overhang was sufficient to stop the water from coming in the window, so that was the remedy. Obviously they’ve never heard of the legal term “fit for a particular purpose.” The legal world believes that when a consumer buys a product, the product needs to be fit for a particular purpose. When I bought these windows, I assumed that they were fit to keep water from coming into my house without an aluminum overhang. I’ve had multiple homes with multiple homes with multiple windows installed and I have never ever heard of anything so ridiculous. This is a crappy company that does not stand behind their product. Go Anywhere else- I wish did!!"

"I hired them to reset my gutters and have them flow towards the downspouts as they are sagging in places. Shared ahead of time that they are older copper gutters, and verified that wouldn?t be a problem. They came out unannounced several months later, spent an hour. No follow up just send me a bill for almost $300 which I paid but shouldn?t have. Absolutely no change in the gutters still sagging and spilling over. Called and talk to the older lady who I believe is the owner explain the situation and request a refund which was refused not very politely. Stated reason they came out regardless however, there?s no change in the actual problem I wanted fixed which was shared ahead of time."

"I hired Ellief Brothers to replace the roofs on my house and barn after storm damage. Unfortunately, I?ve had ongoing issues with the barn roof. Every time it rains or snows, it leaks. Instead of taking responsibility, they attempted to blame me for their improper installation. They were also not upfront about the total cost until after the old roof had already been removed. Additionally, no waivers or disclosures regarding the installation were ever presented or signed. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company and believe you would be better off hiring a smaller contractor who provides better workmanship at a fraction of the cost. I also have numerous photos available for anyone who would like to review them before hiring this company."

"The Empowerment Church had a complete Duro-Last Membrane Roof installed late last year and of course we had an unusual weather this winter. I discovered a leak yesterday and called Kyle to notify him of a possible leak. Kyle responded immediately and had Dave and crew come down the next day, Dave found the source of the leak, and repaired it with additional recommendations of what was needed. Thank you Kyle and Dave and crew for fast response and excellent service. Superior Services is my company of workmanship and excellence in addressing our repair issues immediately. I don’t think you can get any better than that and they Honor their Warranty just keep up the maintenance schedule annually. Once again great job and Thank you. Reggie Barnes The Empowerment Church"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Nashville, MI

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
