"Have used Jay and Sunnydale numerous times. They’re great! I’m a general contractor, and rely on working with contractors who are conscientious, knowledgible and very professional. Sunnydale is all that and more. They’re great at problem solving, work well with homeowners, work efficiently, and have fair rates. I recommend them highly!"

"These contractors were a breath of fresh air compared to our last contractor. Mr. Vaughn oversaw the entire job himself. This contractor and all his workers were prompt, used high quality materials and did an admirable job repairing all the problems left by the other crew. I especially appreciated their TLC attitude about our home and the way they treated us. This was something that was greatly needed after all we had been through. Our new home is now all we had dreamed of."

"Great! Ricky was very helpful. Very courteous and very open to our needs. His crews were professional. They did their work meticulously and cleaned up after themselves. They were on time and showed concern for our convenience and need. I was very satisfied and pleased with the work they did and the quality of the materials and workmanship."

"When making the appointments I was always clear that I wanted the out of place shingle addressed and confirmed I would not need to be home for the visit. Scheduling got rained off 3 times (nothing they could do about that), but I had to follow up with them to reschedule. The last time I called to reschedule, I was told that the service had been completed and the result was “no shingles were out of place & they could not get access to the rear of the property, as it was fenced.” That's it! I eventually talked with the technician responsible for the visit who informed me: 1. He did not actually visit but sent someone else 2. They will not open a gate as they are concerned about dogs and liabilities (really…. & the gate was open that day)! 3. He was unaware this was an angieslist tune up and when he realized that, he stated the roof was too steep to qualify and that's why they did not go on the roof The difficulties scheduling, level of communication and the technician’s story did not make me feel comfortable continuing to work with them and we agreed they would refund the “deal”. The management team was then very responsive and professional and the deal was refunded immediately. I am now getting another angieslist contractor to look and quote for the repair. I did not believe the claim that my roof is too steep to qualify for the deal. It does not look anything special, it is the same as all the others in our neighborhood and contractors have walked on mine and neighbors before. BUT from accurate measurement in the attic, I confirmed it is an 8-12 roof which does not qualify for any roof deals on angieslist. Before purchasing any roof tune up deal, I would recommend members go into their attic and measure the rise for a horizontal run to confirm their roof is within deal specifications (6 inches rise for 12 inches of horizontal travel)."

"Everything went very smooth from start to finish. They installed our roof in one day and installed the gutters the very next day. Their drywaller came out the next week and repaired the drywall and painted the entire kitchen which I was expecting just a patch. You can't even tell where the leak was at. I'm sooo happy with my new roof, gutters and my kitchen even feels new again. Everything looks GREAT! <br />"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Nashville, NC

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
