"Eric and crew were great to work with. The old deck was swiftly removed and the new deck in installed in just a few days. Work area was always left tidy. Construction quality is high. The picture is of just finished deck. I had him stain a light color; thought quality showed better with raw wood. Eric suggested the top rail - you can set drinks and even a plate on it! I am enjoying it. I am president of my HOA and have dealt with a variety of vendors/contractors and Eric was one of the easiest, most reliable who delivered a high quality product when he said. Would definitely use Eschberger Construction again. "

"Where to begin!!?? Jim was one of the first if not the first contractor to reach out. I had provided a fairly clear description of what I needed. As I recall, I gave the water heater count, description (gallons and size), and where they were meaning attic above 2nd floor plus one in a really funky closet on the 2nd floor. Jim texted me a price that he noted as firm. I'm good at (or bad depending on how you look at it) getting multiple bids so I feel good about the price and don't have buyers remorse down the line. Plus, it keeps my wife off my back about it all. Several plumbers responded with most requiring an onsite visit to look at it all, sit down at the kitchen table and discuss all the options, etc. While I appreciate the thorough nature of these companies, it seemed like overkill. A couple had add ons that made no sense to me but who knows at this point. I called Jim to discuss his price compared to the others as it was 1/3 to 1/2 what all the others wanted (not kidding). I walked through the add ons the others were charging and Jim explained why each one made no sense and what he did to mitigated the supposed risk the others saw. I'm no stranger to construction and it was evident this was not his first rodeo. We agreed to move forward. I was told the crew would show at 10am and wrap up around 2pm. They (3 gentlemen) showed up at 10:10am with a text about 20 minutes prior to let me know they were on the way. The immediately went to work laying down water proof tarps with one man immediately going to the attic to start the break down process. By 2pm they were wrapping everything up. Other than 3 new water heaters, there is no sign that they were here. Not one drop of water that I could find anywhere. No left over pipes or pan....nothing. I texted Jim to confirm the price. It was still the firm price he originally sent when I started this process and it was. One gentlemen went over the warranties, gave me all the paperwork, and recommended a couple of leak detector alarms on Amazon that I should consider getting as added safety against potential damage. I really appreciated that little tidbit of advice. I cannot imagine why anyone in Houston would go with a different company to put a water heater in. A full service plumber is nice to have in your back pocket but Waterheater Pros ONLY DO WATERHEATERS and it's clear they have it nailed down."

"Last October, my sister, an elderly veteran living alone, contracted Genie Bath Systems to remodel her master and guest baths. She was diagnosed cancer and passed before the remodel was complete. Which, to be fair as we were not able to work with Genie while attending to my sister. The contract was expensive. Very expensive. The cost of the remodel is close to 1/4th the value of her home. I noticed there were issues with the remodel that showed a surprising lack of attention to detail. Genie sent people to address the issues twice. Yet issues remain. My calls to my contact at Genie are now being ignored. Also, the only document I have for the remodel is the contract my sister signed. It is not detailed. I have and continue to ask for a breakdown of the cost. An estimate or work order. This request is also being ignored. I am disappointed and have to wonder why Genie will not provide this information. I have several other questions for Genie that I will not go into here.
