"We had an unfinished space with walkup stairs above our 2-car garage that we wanted to finish. I had a general idea of what I wanted done, and provided. He provided a detailed line item quote, and I was waiting on another quote from someone else (never received). It appeared high at $18,500...but I didn't really have anything to base that on. I am "El Cheapo," and eventually decided to GC it myself. I used my brother-in-law for carpentry (knee walls, box out chimney, floor, window, and door trim), flooring, and a DIY mini-split installation. All of these things I could NOT have done on my own - I needed his expertise. I hired a roofer for the lone skylight install. I bid out the plastering, gyp and painting. I hired the electrician. The space came out great, and I was involved so there's that satisfaction. But I'm sure the schedule dragged out, and I think I ultimately tallied the costs at around $15k on my own. All this is to say is that at the end of the day, his quote turned out to be quite competitive, and had I gone with him I would have saved myself the headaches of finding the subs and potentially could gotten the project done sooner. I did not go with him, but figured the least I could do is give him credit on his punctuality seeing and submitting competitive pricing on the project. Next project that comes up I'll think of using him."

"As a testament to how happy we were with our first renovation provided by the Curtice Group in 2021, which provided completely new kitchen/dining/mudroom/bath, we hired Scott and his team again in 2024-25 for another major renovation. This job was composed of 3 main parts: a gut remodel of our main bathroom, renovation of a large attic space (about 700 sq ft), and whole-home conversion from steam radiators (gas) to heat pumps including removal of all radiators and a chimney. The bathroom now is attractive and more functional, the attic adds a large amount of useful space as an office/kid room/guest area, and central air makes a more comfortable climate. I’m a big fan of the design/build concept, because you really don’t want to separate those two elements into different contractors, and if you find a talented company, they can handle all aspects of the job fluidly. Scott Curtice has a real knack for design, he is attentive and cares about details, and he will perform carpentry and touch-up work as needed. Moreover, he handled all the project coordination so that we could do the jobs that we do well, which do not include home renovation."

"We are so thrilled that we chose Joe and Jonathan from Home Pro Services for such a major home construction project! We had TWO bathrooms that were circa 1980s in our home and BOTH needed a gutting renovation. We had solicited several quotes, but Joe and Jonathan of Home Pro Services came as a personal recommendation from a friend, and we had already seen the beautiful work they had done. Home Pro's prices seemed lower/in line with market prices. We needed gutting of the existing spaces, some revision of electrical and plumbing, installation of walls, ceiling, floors, fans, tile work, fixtures. Joe made himself incredibly available. He is pleasant to work with. He is very responsive! He is highly attentive to details. He dispelled all of our myths of "the absent contractor". Instead, he updated us regularly with progress, by email and text, and we saw him nearly daily. Through these communications he helped us make intelligent decisions about the project. As expected there were some unforeseen construction issues having to do with water damage etc. we faced along the way, but Joe helped us address these in a fair and equitable way. We also appreciated, given the timing of our project which was during the COVID outbreak, that he did not bring large teams of people into our home. The plumbers, electricians and painters he referred for our project were also highly qualified and respectful. The quality of Home Pro services by far exceeded our expectations! "Three terms you don't hear when speaking about contractors : Honesty, timely and effecient and pride of Workmanship. If you use Liam Neary Construction you will be using these terms and smiling as you tell others about your amazing experience. I had a leak in my roof with water coming in through the chimney. The water came into the utilitiy room creating a mini swimming pool and the hot water tank shut down. Liam came out within an hour of my phone call got my water running showed me how to clean the sensor for the future and reset the hot water tank. He scheduled to come out later that day to replace flashing on the roof to hopefully fix the problem. Unfortunately for me, it was not the full resolution. In the next rainstorm, I got water in the chimney again and reached out to Liam. This time it was a saturday and was thinking I might see him at the start of the work week or need to pay crazy money just to get him to show up. This was not my experience he showed up in 2 hours reviewed what he had done and come up with a new solution. He determined that the chimney needed some additional work and adjusted the price because of the original work that he had done correctly, but did not solve the problem completely. This contractor is the real deal. If you have a problem give him a call today. He will make your life easier and resolve your problems quickly. For the job done right call Liam Neary."
