I called Brazosport Plumbing and they knew how to find the leak right away. They opened a small hole in the wall and he was able to fix the leak right away. "My next door neighbor had the same issue and highly recommended this company.  I probably wouldn't have used them if I checked Angies List (given the poor reviews).  So glad I listened to her!  They scheduled within 2 days, stating any time between 9-12 and was willing to with my schedule.  He came at 9:30 am and called 30 min before like I had asked.  Unlike other reviews, I found them extremely professional, helpful and reasonable in cost. The next day while I was out of town, a neighbor called to say that there was a little more than usual amount of water coming out from the side of my house.  Forgive me since I am not savy with these things!  I called on Saturday and received a call back within a few hours.  A friend was able to meet him on Monday at the house and he quickly fixed the problem (no charge!).  I was also able to text the plumber personally and this eased my mind tremendously.

"They were nice guys.  They were hired by the contractor remodeling our bathroom.  I have a complaint against them - they knocked a couple of holes through the bathroom, into the living room.  We had to do the repair ourselves.  The plumbing was fine, but I didn't appreciate the holes in the wall.  I actually complained to the contractor and I don't know if he said anything about it.  I used my plumber for all the other plumbing work in my house.  Once the contractor was through with his little piece, then I got my own plumbing in."

"This past weekend, my third floor toilet/sinks were backing up due to a lost plumbing snake. I called SmartChoice and spoke with Carlos this past Sunday. He came out Sunday night and looked at the situation. He returned Monday with Travis and tried to get the snake out but couldn't (He removed the toiled, put in a camera and tried taking it out that way). He finally returned this morning (with Travis) and finished the job. He cut into the wall into our garage and pulled it out. I really appreciated the fact that Carlos tried multiple ways to get the snake out before cutting into the wall. He did not immediately pick the most expensive option.
During all 3 visits, Carlos (and Travis) were very professional. They were on time, very detailed with their explanation on what needed to be come. I called multiple plumbers last Sunday before choosing SmartChoice. They had the best price. I HIGHLY recommend this company. I will definitely call them in the future if I have more plumbing issues.

"Crew was two hours late, but all work was done in one day. The crew cleaned up everything and explained the basics of how the new programmable thermostats work.  They tested the heater and restarted it until air was cleared from the gas line and the heater stayed on. A/C operation was verified and was cooling before they left.
I had got 3 estimates on this work; Cucco's was in the middle on price. My decision was based as much on dealing with Chris for repair of my old system, and his professionalism and willingness to explain things and answer my questions.
