"This review involves the handling of a leaking water heater issue through American Home Shield (AHS). After contacting AHS, they assigned Lindsay Plumbing to address the issue. Lindsay reached out to me on the same day and immediately scheduled an appointment. I was told that I would be contacted by Chad relative to a Friday, 8:00 am appointment. On September 7, 2018, Chad called and advised he would be at my residence at 8:00 am. He arrived promptly at 8:00 am on that day. He introduced himself and we went to the upstairs 2nd floor attic. While in the attic, I could hear him talking to an AHS representative, advising them of the problem and discussing what parts he would need to replace the water heater. Once he was downstairs, we discussed the heater needing to be replaced. I also received a call from AHS advising me what my out of pocket cost (permit, parts and labor) would be, and that they would take care of the replacement water heater. Chad scheduled the following Friday for the work. The following Friday, Chad and his associate arrived promptly at 8:00 am. and immediately got to work. Chad and his associate worked in the attic removing the old and replacing the new water heater. It took them about an hour to complete the installation and removal of the old water heater. Chad provided me with the requisite paperwork relative to the new water heater and indicated that his office would be scheduling a City inspection the following week. Overall, both gentlemen were very professional, and cordial. They did an excellent job. As a footnote, I learned that I would be heading out of town the following week. I contacted Lindsay to expedite the city inspection. I spoke to Sherrie. I advised her of my situation. She told me that she would be calling the City Inspectors office to see when she could arrange before I left town. Within minutes, I received a voice mail back from Sherrie advising me that she had scheduled an afternoon appointment with the City Inspectors office, within the next two days. The inspector come out two days later and issued my permit. Again, I applaud the professionalism exhibited by all persons with Lindsay that handled this matter."

After confirming that the water heater needed replaced, all the options and what to expect with the repair and visuals of the new system were explained in detail. No high-pressure sales tactics, no trying to up-sell to tankless system, etc.. etc... Once the repair was complete, they even went on the roof to ensure that the flue vent and storm collar were sealed. Great experience and would definitely hire them again if needed."

"I had an leak in my garage which I thought was my washing machine, but it turned out to be my galvanized steel plumbing leaking. Surprise! Considering it had rusted through in several locations, Carlos advised me to replace all of the plumbing, but did give me several options to choose from if that wasn't in the budget. I work in the construction industry, so I'm lucky to have some people who I trust for advice. After seeking the opinion of a trusted construction partner, I decided that the investment in new Pex plumbing would be worthwhile and that they were asking a fair price. While they were doing the replacement, I decided to get some other work done at the same time because they offered it at a good deal. The workers that performed the installation were very friendly and even played with my puppy dog and let him out while I was gone- I really appreciated that gesture. When something didn't go to my expectation, they made it right- something I think is a true litmus test for a company's integrity. They also warranted the new plumbing system for 10 years, which I find to be very important because it makes me feel like they stand behind their product. Every interaction with them has been incredibly professional and they go above and beyond. I always feel like they have genuine concern that I am happy with their work, and I will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs.

"My overall experience with Cucco's Air Conditioning & Heating was much better than I expecting.  They performed the work at an very low price.  I use American Home Shield to warranty the house and they sent another company out to repair the upstairs AC that was only blowing hot air.  They diagnosed the compressor needed to be replaced, which was a covered in the AHS policy, but they wanted to charge me $700 for the cost of the R-22 refrigerant (that is above the $10/lbs that AHS covered).  The cost was for approximately 12 lbs of refrigerant, so that would be almost $60/lb for me and an additional $10/lb for AHS = $70/lb for the refrigerant.  It's important to note that due to government regulations, R-22 is getting harder to find and cost is going up.
However, Cucco's was able to do the repair and flush and replace the unit with new refrigerant for a little more than the other company was going to charge for just the refrigerant.  They were very responsive and accommodating as I requested a Saturday service on short notice.  They completed the work without a hitch and emailed me a bill and receipt which is great for being able to have a electronic record for this rental house.  I live out of state, so they were great willing to deal with me over the phone while accommodating the tenants at the house.  The tenants said they were very professional and AC is working great.  I HIGHLY recommend Cucco's!
