"The owner called me and confirmed that I still wanted my security doors install. I was given a day on the weekend, but he called me and said he can get to me early in the week and it was my only off day. He kept in touch with me until the day my doors were to be installed. He sent his workers out to my house and they were very nice and respectful. They put my doors up so fast within a few hours, as they ran into a little problem out the door up. That wasn’t a problem for them they fixed it right away. I love my doors and the way they cleaned up after themselves when they got finished. After the door was done they made sure that I was satisfied, and I was very satisfied. My owner also called to see if I was satisfied with their work. I love their work how fast, neat and clean their work was. My son came over and asked who did my doors, he will be using their service as well as me for my future home projects. "Everything went great. Its obvious that Steve takes a lot of pride in his work. He doesn't cut any corners. I prepped the house myself but Steve took the time to re-calk in places that I had missed. I also had some rusty nail heads exposed and Steve took the time to go over them with an oil based primer prior to painting. They did a great job of masking off the brick and the lines are clean. They painted the siding one color and the trim another and lines are perfect. I had planned on replacing my back door because my dogs had really torn up the finish and the trim around the frame. I told Steve not to worry about painting it because I planned on replacing it anyway. To my surprise, Steve was able to repair the door and make it look like new which saved me the expense of replacing it. I could not be happier with the work they did. My house looks better than it ever has.

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
