"This company is THE MOST reputable, professional, OUTSTANDING company we have ever worked with. We use them for both our home and our office and they are always AMAZING. What makes them amazing? The level of care, integrity and information that they provide. The fact that they are the lowest prices but highest quality. They stand behind EVERYTHING they do. We have had used them for repairs (prior to our new A/C unit) for YEARS and once our A/C finally stopped working, their team came asap and got us setup with a great new unit. We encountered a couple of issues with equipment (no fault of theirs) and they were fast to come and get things replaced. We have had to call them on holidays and weekends and they have ALWAYS come through for us. Not only is the company itself awesome, but literally every member of John's team that we have ever worked with, has been so invested in doing the best job with everything and it clearly shows. His guys go above and beyond - like even helping with things that were completely unrelated. They make great recommendations and always do their best to keep costs as low as possible. They stand behind everything they do and they don't try to sell you ANYTHING that you don't really need. Not only is the company and the staff great, but the owner himself (John) sees to things personally and makes sure his customers are taken care of and happy. I think my favorite thing about John though is the fact that he treats his employees so well - and that comes from THEIR mouths. They all have the upmost respect for him and freely talk about the things he has done to help them professionally and personally. He truly is an incredible human - who does good by everyone. I support this business 10000000000% and recommend them to EVEYRONE we know."

"National Air Conditioning exceeded our expectations! From the moment we contacted them, they demonstrated utmost professionalism and honesty. Unlike some other companies, they didn't try to upsell us on unnecessary features or units. Instead, they carefully assessed our home's needs and provided us with the perfect AC unit. The installation process was seamless, and their team was friendly and efficient. We're thrilled with the results! Our home is now a haven of cool comfort, all thanks to National Air Conditioning. Highly recommend them for anyone in need of reliable and trustworthy HVAC services! Our thanks to Andre and his team for an awesome job."

"Brown Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing has been called to repair the same problem leak 3 times in the last 90 days on my 4-year-old Rheem HVAC system. Every time the company owner (John Brown), would Not let his guys leave my property until he was able to work me to pay for the same repair 3 separate times. Last time, on 02/20/2026, he asked me to pay an additional $460 for the same repairs that I had just paid the same company $682 for 3 weeks before, at the time, I refused to pay for the same repair twice, both Brown A/C's own techs that were there, agreed with me about paying for the same repair again and again, but John Brown (the owner) would not get off the phone till I agreed to pay $250 which I paid. On 02/23/2026, I called Brown Air Conditioning to let them know that the repairs that they had performed and got paid for 3 separate times, did Not work, and the HVAC system is running on Auxiliary Heat. John Brown (the owner) told me that they will Not come back to fix it."

FAQs for central a/c service or repair projects in New Port Richey, FL

A condenser fan motor is a crucial part of your air conditioner that prevents the compressor from overheating. It pulls heat from your AC unit to cool the refrigerant moving through the condenser coils. This allows your system to blow cool air and keeps everything running smoothly.

The most common causes of AC fan motor failure include loss of lubricant in the system due to overheating and a rusted or leaking run capacitor. Poor lubrication can also cause failure in the belt drive, which may impact the AC fan motor. Weather and electrical components can also affect your AC. For example, a storm could send water into your motor windings and damage the internal components.

Air conditioner fan motors last about 12 years on average, though they can last longer if maintained well. This includes keeping them clean and cooled as needed with annual air conditioner checkups. Routine maintenance is essential to catch AC fan issues early. An HVAC inspection can cost between $70 and $500, while AC cleaning services may range from $100 to $400.

A broken AC fan motor may need replacement because this part usually can’t be repaired. Several things indicate it’s time to replace your AC fan motor, including buzzing noises, a constantly running fan, unusually high energy bills, or an aging system. If you notice these signs, call an HVAC pro for help before the faulty motor starts to strain other parts of the AC system.

There are clear warning signs of a bad AC fan motor, including unusual interruptions in the fan operation. The motor might be malfunctioning if you hear weird noises like grinding or rattling or if the fan continues to spin when the unit is off. These indicators compromise your AC’s cooling performance and increase your energy costs. Addressing these issues immediately by contacting a trusted HVAC professional prevents further damage and safeguards your HVAC's efficiency.

Replacing your AC fan motor takes a professional one to four hours. The technician will start by assessing your system and safely removing the damaged motor. If a new part needs to be ordered, it might take a few days. Once the part is available, your pro will install it properly and make sure your system is running smoothly.
