"We were initially Very happy with the work All-State Exteriors did on our roof this summer after some wind and rain damage caused leaking in our home. We experienced additional leakage after they had completed the roof and answered in a timely manner to repair the vents in our bathroom causing the leak. While initially doing the work on our roof, two of the guys asked to come in to look in our attic because they accidentally pulled out the roof jack, but we don't have an attic because it is a modular home and there is no access panel to the piping they accidentally pulled apart. They told us they were pretty sure they fixed it and we shouldn't have any issues. This should have been a red flag to us. As we enter the winter months, we turned on our furnace and it isn't working right.we call an HVAC company to come take a look and they verify there is nothing wrong with the furnace and ask if we had any roof work done recently. When we tell him we had, he looks at the roof jack and tells us that there are definitely issues with it and we should call the roofing company back to fix it as they should be insured against any damages they cause while working. We called a representative who we had worked with when we had the first issue after installation and he came out. He was here for approximately 20 minutes and told us it had to be with the piping and we would have to cut access to fix it and once the piping was fixed he would come out and replace the roof jack. My husband later that day cut an access point and nothing was wrong with the piping, this was confirmed by HVAC personel. My husband calls the same representative to let him know the piping is fine and the representative says he would be out Wednesday to fix the roof jack. It is Wednesday and by 1PM no one has came so, my husband calls the representative to confirm he was still coming out. This representative then says "Oh my manager forgot to call you let me have him reach out." When the manager calls my husband explained the situation and the manager asks "Why do you think that's our problem?". After more of a conversation as to why, the manager told my husband he would talk it over with the initial representative and call back. We are going on 4 days of using space heaters and no solution while the manager "talks it out with the workers because they are saying that didn't happen". Well, the manager called back and his solution was "If you buy a roof jack we will install it because my guy said that did not happen". My husband and I were both home when the installation was done and both know that there were 2 men looking to get in the attic because of accidentally pulling out the roof jack. I understand that you are roofers, but if you mess something up, fix it. Don't put that burden on your customer who trusted your company to do the work and not mess with anything else. I am highly disappointed in how this situation is being handled after a great first impression"

"They scheduled to come in March, they showed to the scheduled to do the installation that seemed to go okay. So, that was the week of March 21st on Saturday. And when they finished the job but nobody came to check anything when the entire order of the sliding casing for the locks were detached from the door and turns out that it was missing some bunch of screws when they came back on Monday. I had two different people to speak with over the weekend, but I never heard anything else. I even sent emails and photos to the company over the weekend but nobody responded and this whole thing. It was over a month a month now and it was still not resolved. It is very difficult to lock and unlocked the door which also makes my kids being annoyed with it. On weekend, someone answered the phone and told me that someone will come but nobody really came to resolved this."

"Not impressed. The estimator arrived early, so I had to interrupt work to meet him. Was not wearing a mask for COVID (I was). He took a few pictures and listened to what I needed. I did not get a good feeling from the conversation. Estimate was TRIPLE what others were. I will not consider them again."

"DO NOT HIRE- Company uses unlicensed subs or at minimum won't have a licensed person overseeing your job at all, cuts corners, shingles over wood rot, does not follow installation guidelines for the products they use, will not answer or respond to calls or emails and will likely completely forget about your job after you pay. They will bill you and your insurance even after the job is finished and you have been final invoiced. As another reviewer said the invoices don't state the work that is done, only terms like "code items or Roof items" so its impossible to confirm they did what they said they would do. They will supplement your insurance to fix their own mistakes. When you bring it up they ignore you and drag their feet hoping you give up, or send "professionals" out to tell you their work is great. For me personally this led to over 7 thousand dollars in roof damage on a "brand new roof" as well as needing to replace windows and siding due to them dragging out patchwork repairs for almost 2 years. Almost $15,000 dollars later its a BIG NO FROM ME DAWG. Updated to add: Photos of unresolved damages from Universal Builders-this is AFTER they sent someone out 3 or 4 times to fix the wood rot! Then when I made a review on yelp the owner's wife tried to bury it calling it fake and making a fake review herself. How much more dishonest could a company be! Do yourself a favor and use literally anyone else. I can't tell you how much sleep I've lost over this, not worth the damage to my home and didn't get what was promised. These photos do not even begin to cover the amount of things this company initially shingled over. i could keep going but just do yourself a favor and do your research and pick a different company."

"I ordered all new windows from Mike Murnane upon returning home from deployment on June 17, 2024. Mike never ordered the windows. He stole a $5,000 down payment and strung me along for almost a year. Toward the end of November 2024, mike admitted the windows hadn’t been ordered but he was working on other jobs and would pay me back in a week. This continued for months. Filing a lawsuit. These guys are absolute crooks, do not trust them with anything. Update as of 04/22/2025 In regards to the review below, you guys are comical liars. Numerous calls were placed to your office in the early months. You guys sure knew mike then. You guys were able to get ahold of him a few times I couldn't. Your business has atlas exteriors listed as a DBA. All of this has been recorded, pictures saved, and the old "oh we don't know that employee" does not work when I have called your office for him and your secretaries get ahold of him for us. Months later you switched to suddenly not knowing a person using a listed DBA you have given business cards to? Same address? It'll get sorted in court unless money is returned."
