"This is my second experience with Joyce Plumbing and Heating. The first time was a new hot water tank. When you have your local city inspector tell you during inspection of the tank installation that "oh, Joyce did it? Then I don't even need to look at the installation...". That was a ringing endorsement!! We then moved to a mini-split heating/cooling system for our house. These guys were just terrific. We had 3 units put into our house and the team worked flawlessly. From Will (our super human sales guy) to Tina in the Joyce P&H office (customer care) to Calvin and his team, we were very well treated, on time and under budget. David from Palmer Gas & Oil came out to do our safety check and after giving us a passing grade, immediately starting working on our problem. We did not have to call to have someone else come out after the safety check was done. David took care of the issue while he was there. He was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. "Excellent job by Eddie. He wasn't sure at first that he would be able to clear one of the drains, due to the age/type of pipes in the house, but his efforts were successful. I would have no hesitation in using this company for such services in the future, or in recommending it to others. In fact, my regular plumber had previously been unsuccessful in clearing the bathtub drain, so all the more credit to Eddie. Note that this work was performed as part of a special offer that I received in an e-mail from Angie's List. "Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"This is my 3rd service call completed by Peterson Plumbing.  The bearings on my disposer were going, making a nasty noise.

I bought a replacement unit and had Paterson replace it.  the job was done properly and promptly and for a price that makes doing it yourself a thing of the past.  He cleaned up and left the place the way he found it.

Thus another job by Peterson was completed."

"Stephen answered the phone directly when I called to make an appointment.  He said that he was available to come out that afternoon, if this was convenient..  I agreed, since we were home anyway because of power outages at work.  Stephen arrived as anticipated and spent a few minutes looking at the shed and its contents.  I also showed him an old exercize bicycle in the garage that I wanted removed.  He stated that he would e-mail me an exact estimate within a day or two, but anticipated the cost to be in the range of $800-$900.  I was somewhat taken aback by the amount since I had been quoted several hundred dollars less than this by the company I was planning to buy a new shed from.  I indicated to him that I would probably use this other company.  He said that he could take the exercize bicycle when he left, and proceeded to carry it out the garage and lift it into his truck.  He refused to accept payment or a even a tip for this.  The bike had been taking up badly needed space in our garage  for years, and for us it was extremely heavy (he hoisted it up with seemingly minimal effort...).  It may have been a small thing for him to do, but I was really appreciative.    If I need to hire anyone to haul away items in the future I plan on calling  Stephen."

"Aside from the price of service it went well.  They were relatively on time and seemed to know what they were doing.  During the phone call I was told it would probably cost me around 100 dollars.  During the service they replaced a small part for the cost of $228 in addition to an $89 dollar diagnostic fee.  They said it was an expensive part.  I looked online and I could not see where that price was justified.  I found multiple equivalents for under thirty dollars.  So, $327 to replace a part that sells for less than thirty dollars and less than twenty minutes on the job site.  Now, I know they had to travel but I can not feel good about that overall cost given the degree of difficulty."

The value of the services was similar to others compared, but the timing, the products they installed, and overall communication is the reason we chose them. From sales to installers, all were courteous, honest, and gave great communication."

The day of service, the technician arrived on time and explained the work to be done and eventually his findings. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable.
